TRG blue is not that big. East Coast is only in Massachusetts and NewYork. Down south is in Texas. TRG blue in Massachusetts is mix of blue and grey. Texas is mix of blue and grey as well. TRG Grey is much more then Blue. Plus now they all grey anyways. Only a few still reping blue.

If you went to McLane High School from 95-97, you might know me. I'm in my 40s now and life is great. Lots of memories and not regret a damn thing.

I'm Hmong and TRG from Fresno. Got put in summer of 96. Far as I can tell, there were three of us that are Hmong. We really don't look at who is what. TRG was and is very diversed. If you went to McLane High School from 95-97, you might know me. I'm in my 40s now and life is great. Lots of memories and not regret a damn thing.
@@7R6-o1t You were probably consider 3rd generation if I'm correct. There were a handful of Hmong TRG from 1990 to 1992, but a lot of them split up due to inner-conflicts between Hmong/Khmer members. If when you became TRG and there were only three of you, I'm not sure if they joined before or after you. I know there was one Hmong TRG in Fresno that was still representing by the late 2000's. He was a good friend of Lil Bad Ass from Fresno TRG, the one who got killed unintentionally.

A few Hmong who landed in Long Beach after the Vietnam war during the 80s also bang TRG. One of my relative that bang with the TRG in the late 80s was the trigger man. He use to wear them long ass coat with a sawn off shotgun hidden under his sleeves.
Them trench coat lol. I've only heard one Hmong in TRG back in Long Beach. Most Hmong that did joined other Asian gangs were in ABZ, about 4 to 5 at most in the 90's. Hmong did had their own gang in LB back then too though.

Sifu Cha Kai offered whichever Hmong guy can beat his daughter in a fight he’ll let them marry her. She ended up whooping all the Hmong guy ass except for one Cambodian dude who submission her and won. She did gave him a bloody nose tho.

The Pathet Lao and North Vietnamese (Communist) won the the Secret War in Laos, as early as December 2, 1975. General Vang Pao (GVP), wife and children, his elite soldiers and their familes immigrated to Santa Ana, California as early as mid month of December 1975. The first Hmong individual to join TRG was in 1987. And he joined the original Long Beach chapter. In 1989 or 1990, the first group of Hmong people to join TRG was from Fresno. 1st Generation Fresno Hmong TRG had a handful (4 - 5) trigger men, who rode side by side with Cambodian TRG to the fullest. Your Hmong TRG relative who was a trigger men, was more than likely 1st Generation Fresno TRG. If not, do you know what chapter your TRG relative was from?
Your story and perspective of Sifu Cha Kai, offering his daughter in marriage to any Hmong guy who can beat her in a fight is 100% accurate. And just as you stated, Sifu Cha Kai's daughter beat up all the Hmong guys who did challenged her. A Cambodian or Lao guy, ended up marrying Sifu Cha Kai's daughter. Sifu Cha Kai's oldest son, in his prime years, was a force to be reckoned with too.

Sifu Cha Kai, decided to teach his daughter Martial Arts for self defense purposes at a young age. He quickly took noticed that she was a natural with great potential. He began putting his daughter on strict training and she excelled. It got to the point that Sifu Cha Kai was content with his daughter's Martial Arts skills, that he offered her in marriage to any guy that can beat her in a fight. This challenge took place at Sifu Cha Kai's house (in Long Beach) sometime in the 1980's.
It is said that, Sifu Cha Kai's daughter beat all the Hmong guys who challenged her. Please don't misunderstand me, it wasn't that Sifu Cha Kai's daughter was the best fighter and that there are no other great Hmong fighters from that era! There is indeed Hmong guys who were well trained in Martial Arts that are great fighters. In life, you win some fights and you loose some, you have your good days and bad days! It just so happened, that the Hmong fighters (guys) who challenged Sifu Cha Kai's daughter, for whatever reasons couldn't beat her.
Sifu Seng Lee (Hmong pronunciation Sang) is another well known and respected Martial Arts Master. There were two Hmong Lee brothers from Black Tigers, out of Merced (mid 80's to mid 90's) who were great fighters and well respected. Sou Thao, Hmong Entertainment Movies/Videos had a younger brother who was also a great fighter and well respected too. But I'm unsure if any of these three great and well respected Hmong Martial Arts fighters competed in Sifu Cha Kai's challenge.
