the girl dancers SLAYED this (and the LC choreo.) What kept standing out for me w SMF was their attitudes-- they were so intense, so cool, and perfectly matched the feel and theme of the MV and the live performances. They couldn't have come across more badass if they tried. Plus it was just cool seeing Jimin have backup dancers who are female, since it's super rare for bts. There's such a different energy and vibe with them. They were just epic all around.

i like when curtis mentioned jimin's troubles in self image in the past because it is so true, he was so pressured to always seem masculine and show off his abs during no more dream era and then later on when he was going through severe diets during blood sweat and tears, and now finally seeing being able to express himself more genuinely without fearing the public's opinions of him.

Jimin does have credits on his album, so while there are other writers, a lot of it is Jimin's ideas and the thoughts and feelings being conveyed. If you remember Tony Montana, Jimin wrote his verse so he always had that talent of writing not just songs like LIE, but also rap lyrics like with Tony Montana so his skills have always been there, but now they have the chance to really shine under his own name.

I think a lot of people are going to be upset no matter what direction he goes. People are already complaining just about him being in his lower register. The autotune was a surprise but what I am looking for is Jimin fully expressing himself and finding what works for him. Even in the BTS catalogue, not everything appeals to everyone. People are forgetting that he is doing under a microscope with a million eyes watching. As for aggression even Jimin has said, "I can't be good and nice all the time."

He is not performing set me free when he needs to promote the title track and that's the main song in the album. People at fallon heard a snippet of the song but that was the day of the interview the performance was at a different location. Its very obvious the entire album drops on the 24th which is the same day he's performing at fallon and the lead song is the most important than an outro song from the album

The song, Jimin’s vocals, his dancing, the amazing choreography, also the amazing backup dancers, the lyrics he wrote, the music he composed as well as being involved in the production! Jimin was hands on, involved with every facet! No wonder the in-house legendary producer for BigHit Pdogg, who worked with Jimin throughout the whole album, stated that “in 2023 K-pop will be ended by Park Jimin”! Seeing this makes me that much more excited, waiting in anticipation for release of the full album, Jimin’s “FACE” on March 24, along with his other, main song ‘Like Crazy’ MV. Though Jimin’s song ‘Set Me Free Pt.2’, blew me away , meeting all my expectations & then some, I was also not totally surprised, because indeed Jimin is now ‘set free’ from the confines of being part of a group, to now be able to open up full throttle and ‘finally’ be able to release all that he held back for so many yrs! Jimin has been involved in every facet of creating this album! Hands on all the way, perfectionist that he is, including writing lyrics, composing, as well as being heavily involved in production! Jimin’s true, real, inner self will be finally seen in all its raw, authentic, amazing, heartfelt, passionate, emotional, sincere glory! This is aside from Jimin’s full range, hardly ever being shown, aside from high notes, but being finally able to show his full registry, mid range as well as lower registry as well! While Jimin actually has writing and composing credits for this song (Set Me Free Pt. 2) as well as 4 other songs in the album. The only song Jimin doesn't have credits on is the Interlude.

@Daisy37384 The first time i listened I burst into tears. It's art, people can hate it for the autotune but it's true art from within. It also kinda reminded me of Taeyang and it's beautiful.
