I was a 24 yr old kid when i was blessed to meet Tony Orlando at the Meadowlands Hilton after a segment of the telethon. He spoke with me and treated me with dignity. 340 years and I still have the autographed ticket stub. Funny but true story-- when we met he had a baseball hat on. It said T.N.S.O. I asked him what it meant. He laughed and said he had no idea but a lady gave it to him a short time ago and told him it meant take no shit Orlando. I've told that story 1000 times. Meeting Mr. Tony Orlando was a day I will never forget. It was 40 years ago. I can close my eyes and to this day remember every detail. All these years-- top Mr. Tony Orlando. THANK YOU SIR!!

what a great interview!!! my very first concert was May 1975- Tony Orlando and Dawn (at age 11). 49 years later I was so lucky to be able to be at Mohegan for the finale (& the amazingly surprise appearance of Telma & Joyce). My heart is overwhelmed with joy- such a special evening.

In the 70’s I was a bit snobbish with whose albums I bought. Mostly into rock bands or James Taylor, etc. Tony was clean, wholesome style and Vegas type….and the music really didn’t excite me, (as far as seeing them in concert),yet I knew EVERY WORD TO EVERY SONG and loved singing along! I now at 67 truly appreciate his work and have been enjoying watching him and finding out he is a born again Christian.’I remember exactly where I was in my bedroom (at my desK) when I found out Freddie Prinz died. Loved Chico and the man and remember feeling really sad for Tony I truly appreciate all those songs now at 67 years old. Tony is amazing. He looks great!! And so does Dawn!
