- Today is the incredibly talented Tony Orlando's birthday! Tony was a guest on Ray Stevens CabaRay Nashville television program a few years ago. They talked a little bit about their history together before performing the number one 1970 hit "Knock Three Times", which Tony record with the group Dawn.

I met him in Branson,MO My old boss is Greek and Tony came to visit at my boss's Greek Deli.
He has a great radio show every Saturday night on WABC. He has legendary guests and plays great oldies. It’s great to hear his voice!

Tony Orlando, didn't matter if the guy had the crappiest day in his life, when it came time to perform, he made you think he was the happiest guy in the world. Always, always a great entertainment to watch.

Seen his last Christmas Show in Branson when we lived there. He is a great performer with the best personality ever! People should be so nice today. He believes in himself, and he is right. NY will always be home though.

It's a new generation of people who can't conceive of a time when not all people had phones, let alone that cell phones didn't exist. They can't imagine a simpler time when people literally weren't so bold, and wrote notes to each other, and love letters, on actual paper.
