I saw how you mounted that up in the side rail, but in this video, it's on the front of your bed. How did you mount this up in that location? That's exactly where I'd like to mount mine if lossible.
you only have to loosen the tang holding the water, pull the water container off, then loosen the tang holding the fuel. You don't have to take it all apart like you see me assembling here.
Yes you can. The issue with the lock on the extension is it can be defeated by spinning the entire outer can. In a case like this where the can is secured close enough to the top rail or side, it can’t spin freely and the lock will still work the same as on a single can.
@@donschlonski2936 Theres plenty of videos on UA-cam including my own channel of the lock getting jammed. I lubed it and even covered the hole with tape. It literally jammed on camera while I was taking it off in my garage.
@@HondaFit4Adventure oh! So what I just experienced in my garage is normal! Can't imagine being out on the trail in crisis mode without my garage stuff and have to try to get that lock out! Time for a licking cable instead
Thinking of doing the same setup for my Tundra and I've been wondering how the extension worked. Your video showed it perfectly. Thanks

@@BlueCollarHauler that truck 2011 Tundra) had the same rail across the front of the bed as it does on the sides.
Will those gas tanks expand due to the heat?
no. the plastic is very thick. roughly four times thicker than most of the typical gas cans that you would be familiar with.
I’m curious why you have them mounted floating.
Thanks for posting this man, it helped me a bunch on what to order. I love the the rail system mount!
Are thise one or two gallon containers ??
don't strip the threads dude

Very cool man! I gotta look that up for my truck.

Oh boy, my wallet is nervous.
yeah man. it's probably more expensive that most people would be comfortable with, but sometimes the "cool factor" just makes it worth it
That's a really cool product
cool product. but it sucks that you have to take it all off to get to the fuel

Hudson very rarely have to use the spare fuel.....water yes......
Thank you so much!
HarleyWood Make video on the meth lab?
That's wrong. You cannot use the Rotopax lock the way you have this

Word of advice, dont buy the locking pad mount.
Why? I just started using my lock and it seems to get stuck and not pull out! Is that what you mean?
