Roter Wedding - The Red Wedding (English Lyrics)

Roter Wedding (Red Wedding) is a German communist and anti-fascist song written by Erich Weinert and composed by Hanns Eisler. The song was popularized for its use as the unofficial anthem of the Red Front (Roter Frontkämpferbund). The name of the song has nothing to do with a wedding but comes from the name of a district in Berlin and refers to the Blutmai where German police officers shot and killed 32 protesters.
