Sir what if each semiconductor atom lose 2 electrons... Hence for 1000 intrinsic atoms there will be 2000 free electrons and 2000 holes?? So does the relation fails?
Can anybody clarify? Does doping make the atom charged? I always understood that they became charged when the depletion area was being formed, hence the electric field…. But if the doped neg charged atoms lose the electron in that case surely the atom would have no charge so how could it produce positive field on PN junction?

No not all the atoms present loses the electron
