Interesting. I had no idea Bois Mysterieux was discontinued. There's something in it that reminds me a bit of Papillon's Salome. I managed to get Thierry Wasser to sign my bottle of Encens Mythique...I will be forever in my collection.
Well, true, i guess there’s elements, sure, but i find Bois mysterieux and its predecessor Songe d’un bois d’ete to be quite unique. Maybe Epic man comes a little close
This sounds gorgeous, I could be tempted with one from the line, especially as they are on offer here in London. Unrelated, I wondered if you are familiar with Estée Lauder’s Private Collection? If so what are your thoughts on it? I’d love you to review it. As you can tell I am quite obsessed with it and it will probably be my next purchase. Thanks! 😀

It’s funny you mentioned the supposedly lower proportion of synthetics in the AA because this is the presence of a specific synthetic element that kind of ruined this perfume for me. I liked honeyed roses but find Rose barbare difficult to wear, this one is not, but had to skip on it. 😢
I tried it and I was surprised as I enjoyed it. Nothing ground breaking though. It reminded me of a more transparent and less gooey version of Oud Satin Mood EDP by MFK
I just tried this Saturday Tfs your thoughts. Per the SA they did some changes to elevate the les absolu line. I actually love the opaque bottles. The SA said Guerlain wanted the bottles to look like a bees honeycomb and proceeded to say that the glass is hand-blown so prices may increase 😂

Unfortunately there’s nowhere ti smell them here so i am really unacquainted with them. Is there a particular fvourite?
