How does this store compare to a convenience store near you? Does it look the same, perhaps more of less choices. I think store is more like a 7-Eleven type store, rather than a Russian Typical Supermarket. What about the hot food selection. What do you think?

It’s like Circle K. Except, EurospaR has more prepared foods.
This blows away any 7-11 stores here in America. This is better than even some well-established supermarkets in America.
This is amazing. And the Hot food puts some restaurants in America to shame.
Wonder if the Spar in Netherlands the same typical layout as it is in Russia with all these options?
I live in Los Angeles and that would be considered an extremely high-end 7-Eleven store. There are no 7-Eleven stores around like that. People don't realize how nice it can be living in Russia if you have a little money. Thanks for all your videos they're really enlightening. I'll get you an answer on the French Fries in a few hours. I have a friend who lives in St Petersburg that I've known for 15 years, never met him and he's going to be landing at LAX in exactly 3 hours to come live with me. Oh my God! Thanks again for all the hard work you put into your videos.
Come to Russia, at least for a couple of months, with your family and friends, than to listen to your false and dirty propaganda against Russia all the time. Come to Russia and you will see for yourself everything, everything is absolutely not so, 100%, as you are told about it everywhere, soaking your ears with dirt with lies. Come! Many people come and stay after that. Try it, come. Welcome to Russia! Russia always welcomes good guests!
The best 7 Eleven store. In Australia you can't compare. Bravo Russia..🎉
NOT A 7/11
How much would I LOVE having that in my apartment building?! Our 7-11s are basically nothing like yours. It's truly convenience. Yours is very high end.
Nice to see new buildings built with old style architecture.
In the center of Moscow there must be some requirements, so they fit in with the surroundings.
This convenience store is much nicer than any of the ones I've been to in the States over the years! And the prices there aren't bad, esp when compared to prices in the US. Thank you for sharing this with everyone!
France grits its teeth at the sight of this abondance

Many russians have never been outside Russia therefore all this ignorance like the comment about the cheeses.lol😂
Russell, well here I am with my arm hurting from my Rheumatoid Arthritis, but when you said you wanted comments on this store compared to 7-11s I had to pick up my phone. Hahaha, that beautiful store you showed us is NOTHING like the crappy 7-11s here in the States. There are no nice hot food bars, soup bars, fresh bakery, lovely fruit, etc. So different and clean in your video. Also, 7-11s here usually only have 1 employee staffing it. Maybe 2 if you're lucky. Thanks for the great video! ❤
This is great little supermarket. Clean and well stocked with a great variety of foods. Wonderful.👍
💓CHEERS!! from Boston, dear Russell...🌿🍏🍓🍇🍉🍐🍨🍎🍒🍆🍅🌽😊
Great options for working people to pop in - grab and go. 😊❤
Once upon a time, in America, you could leave your scooter outside a store, not locked up, and it was still there when you came out! I know…almost impossible to believe.
This parking of rentals, don't moving without pay.
Russia convenience store 500% better than in middle of city in California near SF. Agree about cold drinks as it's not beneficial to stomach.
Tryna drink Kombucha 😄
That's great for the people who lives near fresh foods that s cool
Wow! Russia has more choice than the UK. I hear Russian cola is very nice too
Russian Cola tastes better then original one..
If this is convenient store in Russia, I wonder what is a typical Supermarket looks like. Amazing.
On the same channel, Russell has videos about ordinary hyper/super/minimarkets in Moscow and from some city beyond the Urals. they are identical all over Russia
Looks great! thank you Russell ... most convenient convenient store I have ever seen! would definitely shop there everything looks good and fresh and easy
Russian traditional buildings are so beautiful❤❤❤.
I am a huge fan of eurospar here in St Petersburg ❤
Thank you Russel, I always enjoy watching your videos👍
You're very welcome.

GOOD to know, WHO U are!
Actually this supermarket brand (SPAR) is from Holland.
I would add that in all cities in the stores of this chain you will see the same assortment, at the same prices. The differences may be in the local producers of some products, for example, milk.
This is similar to 7-11's here in southern Cali except for the amazing buffet in the middle 😍😍 I'd come here every day for the food and the illegal green drink
Thank you
Welcome!
Far Better than any 7-11 I’ve ever seen in the US or anywhere else.
But this a Spar, not a seven eleven. This is a normal supermarket.
In Japan 7-11 is really nice. They sell seasonal things, sakura related, for example.
@@SonyaForest Yes, everything is Japan is spotless and nice.
A seven eleven store in Sweden doesn't come close to what you are showing in Russia. They have a few things, like milk, soda's, kaffe and some things you need for the car. But really not much.
These Eurospars are very well stocks, and certainly cater to the grab and go shopper.
Yes but in Sweden you wont be thrown in prison for 20 years for speaking out against Putin.
@@JohnnyDiamond1958 In America and other EU countries, we are being arrested, labeled as terrorist and phobic for speaking out about Gaza. so not much "PRIDE" in this system to talk about.
@@JohnnyDiamond1958 Well, the topic had to do with what we have at seven eleven in Russia compared to other countries. So I don't understand where you are coming from. I have many friends in Russia and it seems people just have their own views about the places where they live.
And you equally have a right to your opinion.
Over 3000 people where arrested in UK for speaking their minds on different things on internet.
So maybe we should just appreciate the positive videos that my friend Russell has taken time to share and leave politics to politicians.
All the best. 🤦
looks fantastic
I live in USA and Seven 11 does not look like this, not even close, maybe in China or Japam
They dont in russia either. This a spar supermarket.
@@erikstenviken2652 what i meant is that the Spark is not an equivalent of seven 11, they are real supermarket
This is one step up from a 7-11 stores. So much for the propaganda's telling us that the Russians are starving and living in poverty. I couldn't help but notice how clean the street was. Nice going Russia.
I would take the Eurospar store anyday vs the you know what in the west. There the quality and variety appear better. Like the fresh fruit and salads. Thanks for the look see. Enjoyed.
Moscow is very unique. Moscow’s subway is simultaneously a very reliable and safe public transit, a museum of paleontology, a museum of architecture and a great museum of arts. Moscow’s architecture is very unique and diverse. Moscow has numerous museums, historical sites, theaters and cultural spaces. And, of course, great grocery stores and restaurants.

Thank you Russell for a great video of Russian style "7-11"❤
I live in rural America and tons of 7-11’s here. They’re gas station convenience stores. They’re fine. Nothing like what you showed though. Those are small grocery stores, almost boutique.
Do you have Casey's where you are? Much better than 7-11.
@@bondmood nope, afraid not.

Hi Russell, I call those fries federation fries.
Even that German woman, Ursula said so
You shouldn't believe one word Obama says. Or Biden for that matter.
16:05 it's Abkhazian flag. No international known one, because some countries just doesn't recognize independence of that country from Georgia.
Wow, It actually look better than Japanese 7-11 0_0
It looks like a high-end version of 7-11 and the prices is really nice!!!
And this place is really very normal here in Russia. Not high end at all. I might have to make a video on a well-known high end convenience store to make a comparison.
Here in the USA a store like that is more like a "Smash, Grab & Go"
XD XD XD Soon there will be all stores in the USA with this slogan and it's sad
Your videos are really great, meanwhile you have become a family friend and keep us company! Thanks!
obviously no booze in 7-11 here in Australia. i love the food selection they have available. recently we had a big IT issue with Woolies here. the shelves were empty. it almost looked a " third world" country with a first class price ticket.
In South Africa Spar is a large well-known supermarket chain 👍👍👍
I hope they sell Biltong. ))
Water, tea and fruit juice (I make myself) for me.
Perfect.
I also make the juice myself - three liters of water, two oranges and a lemon finely chopped, a glass of honey, bring to a boil over low heat, strain, cool. It turns out to be a wonderful drink, but it strongly depends on the taste of oranges.
When I was working for Subway back in the stone age, we called it a bain marie. . . . . .
Convenience stores are dangerous at night in Great Britain now.
Are they ? Where ?
Same in US in major cities. Being a 7-11 cashier night shift in a major city is one of the most dangerous occupations.
I work near this place, yay 😁
Your 7-11 is a lot nicer than the ones here in Florida.
Publix kinda Cool doncha think ❓
@@KamBar2020 Publix is a grocery store, this is a convenience store. Big difference.
As you mentioned different styles of architecture, maybe a tour of the remaining Tsarist Period Buildings in Moscow. Or Architecture of different periods with historical context, when you need extra content.
Papaya from Hawaii that is too expensive in California.

Russel, I was telling my sister about some often channels I watch aling with yours and them this video open up in my feed.
I screen shot and sent her the thumbnail, because neither of us could believe how nice and fresh the fruits and veg looked.
We rarely see that quality in the stores we buy groceries at much less a 7 11 type store. Ling winded I know but you did ask about our stores lol.
Nicer than any 7-Eleven in the US.
In Russia they are called fried potatoes,
wow my uni’s right nearby
Also cost a little more than your average supermarket.
Glad you called out the lack of Aussie wines, Interesting because I've travelled a fair amount and I've always been able to find our wines in supermarkets overseas.

Better than any 7/11 I've seen in Britain. Even our urban small convenience stores can't compete with this.
I live in Costa Rica and can't believe that the fruits are much better than what we produce!
Thank you for your video! I live in Russia and my son in USA, so I want he'll come back. All yours video I send him.
Wow, Thank you. I hope he enjoys them as much as you do.
Went to a Spar in a Lake Garda resort once.... tiny pokey place.

Guess you could walk in to red square with a bit of paper with a supermarket name on ans wave it about!.
Of course I could, even a flag perhaps.
The 7-11 stores n Texas have hot food bar located right next to the cash registers.
No hard liquor. You can buy wine.

SPAR is an international company established in 1932 with headquarters in the Nederland, comprising of over14000 individually owned and run stores in 48 countries. In the small town where I live we have two, of which one of them is a SUPERSPAR. Greetings from 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦.
The Eurospars I've been to in Moscow and Kazan don't resemble a 711 at all.
Russell please capture the meat department next time.
My wife and I don't often buy meat in the supermarkets. We get it from local butchers. Thats why I miss filming in there.

Hi 👋 Russel, once you be having a home warming party 🎉 we love to be there and send you something for your home. 💐🇦🇺 let us know once your both settled . All the best 🧚🏼♀️✨💥
7-11’s in the US are generally smaller with a lot of the same types of fast food.
More like Spare/IGA in Qld Australia but added with alcohol
The 7/11's and other convenience stores don't have all those items here in Canada. Definitely not all those fresh vegetables and fruits or the hot prepared foods. The only hot food we they sell here is hand held food like hot dogs or samosas. There has been a buzz about letting small stores sell alcohol here in Ontario but that hasn't happened.
Might be because this is a normal supermarket…
@@erikstenviken2652This video has been presented as a 7/11 style with is a convenience store, not a supermarket.
❤👋😸
This would be considered a Bodega or small local grocery store here and not a mini-mart like 7-11.
or a Small Grocery Store owned by South Asians (Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi)..
7 Eleven style convenience stores are way better, healthier stores than convenience stores here in Mexico, here the leading convenience store which is owned by FEMSA(Coca Cola here in Mexico) is nothing but junkfood, and the cooked foods, hotdogs, nachos and yeah they have coffee and spirits but fruit and veggie section, if they do have any,not a grand variety to choose from, as for the giant "grapefruit" that fruit could be the Pomelo, larger and sweeter than regular grapefruit. As for the salad, in supermarkets here,in the deli section, all have Ensalada Rusa on sale, it looks like potato salad, but besides the cooked potatoe with mayo dressing, they also add carrots and peas, is this how they make Russian salad there? Thanks for sharing Russell, liked and wishing ya a great weekend. : )
Russian salad consists of boiled carrots, potatoes and eggs, pickled peas and cucumbers, (fresh onions to taste) and mayonnaise. Russians call this salad "Olivier"
"Russian salad" in Russia is called Olivie, it is mandatory to be present everywhere, although carrots are not always put in it. that fruit can be either "pamello" or "Sweeti", they are cheaper than grapefruit and naturally less tasty
