You guys are amazing! I love all the work yous do. Welldone for all the hard work❤❤❤❤ you guys look like you actually care about people.. love all the advice and tips you share❤❤❤
Yes of course! Keep in mind nurses will also be in the operating theatre. They will have an important role that is different than the doctor. So make sure you know why you want to be a DOCTOR that's involved in surgery 😃
@@KharmaMedicwhere do we find that out from? Is it scrub nurses vs surgeons or theatre vs surgeons like what’s the differences , I know nurses cannot independently perform surgeries
I love your videos are amazing and help me a lot. I'm studying hospital pharmacy and I always watch your videos because you always give a lot of great advice and tips to medical students.
Hey Ahmed! Yes I got an offer and I had my interview in I believe late Jan/February I don't remember exactly when! But it depends on so many factors for when you get asked to interview. If you haven't heard back you are still in the running 🏃🏼♂️ GOOD LUCK!
Let's say the interview asks me why dentistry and not another health care profession ? Could I say that dentistry is itself a unique field of healthcare and the reason why when i was a kid that dentistry was just about cleaning teeth And how i grew older to realise after experiencing oral problems I was eager to study dentistry and find out more about oral hygiene and diseases and grow up as a dentist to prevent them
I haven't interacted with many pharmacists so I wont comment on that aspect but nurses are definitely a very helpful and useful resource on the wards. I've learned a lot from nurses! It can still be a genuine reason of why you want to pursue medicine. It could be that you enjoy teaching in addition to all the other responsibilities and roles that come with being a doctor :)
hi, how is teaching involved in medicine? like when would teaching be used as a doctor? also how is this exclusive to medicine. thanks alot kharma medic!
how would i go about answering this question in regards to dentistry? I can appreciate that there aren't as many members in a dental multi disciplinary team compared to medicine and dentistry in itself is quite specific compared to medicine so its harder to be more broad about options out there in the dental field. What could I say that makes my answer stand out because ive heard some unis ask ' why dentistry and not medicine'. In my head I have no feasible and sufficient answer other than the fact that dentistry is more manually stimulating. Any tips or advice on what to say? thanks
Yo Abdi Khan i also want to study dentistry how about let's help each other out You could say that Dentistry is a more focused and unique field rather than Medicine and then that allows you to branch of your opinions and passion for it I hope I helped and let's both be dentist :)

Could you also say that the surgical aspect and opportunities drive you to pursue a career in medicine?

with respect to the last comment, aren't nurses/ pharmacists involved in teaching and developing other members of staff too?
