Thats what i was just thinking. I don't even live in California. They need to find a place that nobody cares about and just let the homeless stay there but police it and make sure they don't do bad things. Even send outreach programs out to help the people. Not just shuffle people around. Some people need help and should get the help. Some people won't. Thats just the way it is. Of couse California's democratic government doesn't help the situation. @@namjoonie936 i think you misunderstanding my ideas. Skid row is what happens when you do nothing but enable people. My idea is to have city's and towns set up homeless shelters that are policed and monitored but have them also offer help like job assistance substance abuse programs health care. I envision it being funded through a mixture of goverment and private donations. Like i said it wouldnt be just a free spot where people can do anything they want and get away with it. You'd have to be good to stay in it. I think people that do violent crimes and other bad stuff should be given maximum sentences. Prison can be their free housing. There's plenty of drug addicts and homeless people that are just in a trap and would be more productive members of society if they just had a little help getting out of it. Another thing not all homeless people are junkies and addicts. Many became that way due to financial problems, job loss, natural disaster, etc. Many homeless including the junkie ones are honest and are willing to work. I see alot of empty buildings and shopping centers that could be used to help the situation. Sometimes people are just priced out of there home. I had a friend his neighbor nextdoor was paying about 800 per month for an apartment for over 7 yrs and new owners came in and jacked up his rent to 1500 per month. This wasnt the greatest property either. Everything is getting to expensive. People can't find housing anymore. I myself am sleeping in the garage apt of the person I work for. If anything happens to my boss i don't know where ill go with my dog. Noone likes renting apartments to people with animals. I wont give up my dog. Ill sleep in a van or something.

@@notimportant3914 No, mental health facilities could do some great good. People who aren’t on medicine would get the medicine they need. Sure, their freedom shouldn’t be taken entirely but for a time it is necessary to get the help they need. One of the reasons you have all of those people on the street (some not all) is because those are the people who need care both mentally and physically. They can’t do it themselves.

@@jmemarie4828 well rather or not someone is "crazy" or suffering from a mental condition is up for debate.. whose opinion of "crazy" are we going off of?
For example, I started seeing the world differently after going down a bunch of YT rabbit holes, lol. They'll mess your mind up if you aren't careful. 😳 Anyway, I started talking about these things with my friends and family, because once you see the actual truth of this world, it scares you.. it connects a lot of dots that didn't connect before... All of a sudden the ppl whom you thought were "crazy" don't seem so crazy after all... They only seem crazy because you have no idea what they're talking about.. it's like a different language they're speaking.. so the more I talked about the crap, I thought my friends and family would look the info up, watch some videos, research the stuff a bit.. but NO! Instead they started questioning my mental state.. thinking I "flipped my lid".. "lost my marbles" said I was "brainwashed"..
So.. yeah, I get why they thought that.. I also can't erase the beliefs I hold because of those rabbit holes either.. so am I crazy? Or just sane and everybody else has their eyes closed around me? Their head in the sand?
I'm not homeless, or a criminal. I don't bother others around me with "info" or "research" anymore.. I keep those thoughts and beliefs to myself now.. I know better. I don't want ppl thinking I'm crazy because I have a different perspective than them..
So who gets to put the labels on ppl??
Who's brand of "normal" gets to set the standard for everybody else?
BTW, or PS, I got counseling for two years for my families sake. I'm not crazy.

She was still moving stuff down the stairs when the sheriff pulled up. Carrying one small bag at a time. She was in no rush. She didn't think we'd actually kick her a$$ out.
