That said, as a manga reader knowing the dynamic that she has with her family, you can really understand why she latched on to Kafka so quick. She really needed a goofy uncle.

I think there's a theory that the reason why Kafka can't draw more power of the suit is bc of the kaiju that infected him. The suits are made from kaiju parts to sync with the human body, but Kafka is not human anymore bc of the little mosquito kaiju
