For real…it was equal parts matching Jin Woo’s feelings for having to kill someone for the first time and losing that innocent part of being a human being, but also matches the feelings for the other hunters, like why did you have to go and do that man ?!? Especially when it clips to the mage’s POV of trying to blast Jin Woo and seeing him in your face like that. Subtle taste of what might be going through their minds, and how the music drastically slows down for him to mention to Hwang that his speed isn’t his best trait.
rather than humanity, I see it as he let go of being merciful/pushover. No longer he will just swallow and endure every insult, being taken advantage of, or threatened, just because of him being powerless. Now he can protect his own rights. This only means that he will no longer hesitate to kill those who are after his life or what he rightfully owns. He will still be a guy who cares for his family and his friends and doing normal daily dungeon life.
Carmen, he really didn't have a full recovery button, if you payed attention, he didn't accept his daily rewards last episode, the team leader showed up right as he was about to accept it, so he accepted when he was about to lose to the spider boss and got the full recovery reward

I was SO excited for this episode after last week, I have the 2nd volume on my shelf so I went to read ahead and remember what happens and the spider fight was hype enough, but knowing that he kills the "Lizard Group" as the book calls them (cause of the lizard tail story) would be in the same episode, I knew it would be insane to have both moments back to back, and like everyone else says, IT GETS CRAZIER! I'm hoping my favorite moment is going to be in season 1, I think the pacing is fitting it really well

I think there was some strong characterization that was shown in the manwha and not here. When they ask Babygirl to kill Jinwoo it goes through Jinwoos' thought process and how he is expecting to be betrayed, because ' of course he is going to betray me, everyone does in the end'. Then he is legit surprised that Jinhoo stood his ground. Then again similarly when they are interviewed and Jinhoo covers for him.
Because it doesn’t make sense in the scene in my opinion “of course you’d betray me, I’m weak” right after Jinho watched him solo a C ranked boss, meaning Jinwoo would’ve been at least B rank, Jinwoo would only be fooling Dongsuk and his party, except he wasn’t trying to convince them. Jinho stood by Jinwoo because he wanted to save his own skin and he bet on the guy who just solo’d a boss.

To be fair, this is probably the coldest we ever see Sung Jin Woo go. Later arcs he comes close, but I still think this takes the top in that category.
Jinwoo doesn't have to use his daily quest rewards the second he gets them. As shown in the previous episode and this one. He ran his 10k running to the dungeon they're in to complete his daily, then when the "accept reward" notification popped up, Hwang walked up to Jinwoo and the notification went away without him accepting a reward first.
The song was DARK ARIA . I rewatched that scene so many time. May get hate, but the Eng Dub is perfect too. I'm never JUST watching tv, so I can't keep up with sub.
I think Jinho's role, other than being babygirl v2, is to represent the perspective of a normal person/hunter. As the series progresses, Jinwoo deviates more and more from a normal person, becoming closer to what many would call a monster, and through Jinho's reactions we get a grounded perspective.
When he arrived to the site.. he completed the running routine.. so he ernd his rewards.. one of the rewards is full recovery.. and he didn’t has the chance to use it .. while the donjon boss attacking him he remembered it .. then used it to recover his fatigue .. it’s a convenient 👍🏼
Okay quick question guys and ladies. In the Harsha training art when z got his letter from his bird. They didn't show him for the rest of the ark. Up until the last when they all went to the Infiniti Castle. So I guess I'm saying that to say this I would have loved to see how motivated he was to push his Boulder.
It's sad because at his core, Jin woo is a good person, and the most common form of survivor's guilt is in people who are forced to kill in self defence. HIs real victory in this episode is reaching acceptance.
