It was hilarious for how specific the announcers said he'd be out of action. But I'll say this: I love when wrestlers are written out of stories, rather than just quietly disappearing. They should ALWAYS do this, especially when someone is getting fired/released. Everything can be an angle. Everything.

All joking aside, it will be interesting to see how Riddle is used going forward once he returns. Vince was known to take substance issues and turn them into storylines, with Jeff Hardy and also Jake Roberts. I would think that, seeing how substance abuse affected so many of those close to him, that maybe Triple H would be a little more sensitive to that situation and not want to try to profit off of it. I suppose time will tell
