A lovely collection. I sold most of my Colin Dixon metals over a decade ago (for pennies compared to what they would have netted me today) and have been slowly building them back up in preparation to work on them once my current Wood Elf force is complete; which is a mix of 3rd and 4th edition sculpts and period appropriate models from Grenadier (Mark Copplestone sculpted models from '91).
The prices are certainly getting silly these days - this lot is a combination of models bought during the early 2000s and some good luck/perseverance with ebay over the past 5 years or so. Definitely wouldn't be able to afford these if I'd started now.
That is when i FINALLY got into WHFB as well.. Was playing 2nd Ed 40k since.. Release.. And I bought Dwarfs because of the Longbeards.. But later switched to O&Gs.. Nice memories though. And lovely to follow this!

Amazing collection. I’ll look forward to seeing them completed. The Dwarf lord at 3 minutes or so in is the best sculpt ever.

Very nice force- having them all assembled and primed is a huge part of the job in my experience. Looking forward to seeing the progress!
