Very catchy
The Europapa message about the world/europe and his parents are united in that he is living in the world/europe his parents, who died when he was a child left him;
he wants to move on, and it is on us to come together and build on that europe/world
So getting disqualified is in a way helping with that symbolism

Joost und der Song machen einfach gute Laune. Er hat eine tolle Persönlichkeit und eine tiefsinnige Message. Es ist wahnsinnig schade, dass er disqualifiziert wurde. Joost hätte definitiv gewonnen. ❤
I still don’t understand why
Es gab einen Zwischenfall mit einer Kamerafrau. Sie hat Joost nach dem Auftritt gefilmt, obwohl er extra darauf hingewiesen hat, dass er das nicht möchte. Er hat sie mehrmals gebeten aufzuhören und sie hat weitergemacht. Daraufhin soll er ihr gegenüber angeblich handgreiflich geworden sein.

@@UNCLEMOMO They did. However he is under investigation about some kind of incident. I don't know what kind of consequences that finally can have if he's done something wrong. He wasn't allowed to do a rehearsal today pending investigation.

The guy may be a good son, he dedicated the song to his parents, but last year he released a joint track with a Russian band, and in his repertoire he has a song about how much he loves russia, which is now killing Ukrainians and occupying foreign territories

@@UNCLEMOMO What I know about it is that the song was created before the invasion and is mainly about his love for Russian women. Knowing Joost it's probably a humoristic song. And the band with which he released a track recently has left Russia since the invasion and has spoken out against it.

@@V.Bartovshchuk I'm aware that Russia invaded the Crimea in 2014 but you know that I'm now referring to the most recent invasion of Ukraine. I understand that the 2014 invasion is still fresh in the minds of people from Ukraine and they could take offense against a Dutch artist singing a song about Russia/Russian women. But for most people it would only be controversial if the track was created after the most recent invasion.
