„Sieben Raben“ ist von einem Märchen der Gebrüder Grimm inspiriert. In dem Song verwandelt der Fluch eines Vaters seine sieben Söhne zu Raben. Deren mutige Schwester bricht zu einer abenteuerlichen Reise zur Sonne, zum Mond, zu den Sternen und schließlich zu einem geheimnisvollen Glasberg auf, um jenen Fluch wieder zu lösen, was ihr am Ende auch gelingt. Hier findet man neben vielen magischen Motiven, das für seine Zeit absolut ungewöhnlich starke Frauenbild der mutigen und selbstbestimmten Schwester. Musikalisch verbinden FAUN romantische und mittelalterliche Musik mit musikalischen Einflüssen der Gegenwart zu modernem deutschsprachigem Mittelalter-Folk, der uns in die Welt, das Leben, Fühlen und Denken jener vergangenen Zeit eindringen lässt.

Laura is growing on me. I like her body language which projects no ego, but only deference to the music. That's always been a Faun trait. I also like her voice, which is a matter of personal taste, and I hope the detractors out there will let her settle in and contribute to Faun's evolution.

Praise be to the Masters of their art ! This song is quickly becoming one of my favourite pieces of music...ever. All the musicians are exceptionally talented and Lauras vocals are just getting better and better; it feels like the Fates guided her to become a part of the beguiling ensemble which is Faun.

Egal was die Leute rumheulen ich finde das richtig toll das es deutschen Paganfolk gibt und das es solche Musik auch in Deutschland gibt und nicht diesen Mist der heutzutage als ''Musik'' gilt. Heil an meine Brüder und Schwestern und die Götter ~ ❤
Musik die gemocht wird, ist kein Mist, weil sie gemocht wird und damit ihren Zweck erfüllt.
Musikalische "Fremdenfeindlichkeit" ist kein Weg der zu etwas führt.
Der "Wert" von Kunst entsteht erst beim Rezipienten und da ist jeder unterschiedlich. Unterschiede in der Rezeption sind kein Argument, dass der eine dem anderen diese abspreche könnte. Das müsste man aber tun, um ein negatives. Urteil über das rezipierte Medium abgeben zu können.

Bei einem Kunstwerk sind nur die relevant, die dieses mögen. Alle anderen sind komplett irrelevant, selbst wenn diese eine überwältigen Mehrheit darstellen.

@@AnajutheKhajiit Ok, ich geb's auf und stelle fest, dass deine Intoleranz das Ergebnis von Dummheit ist, die so groß ist, dass du nicht in der Lage bist eine objektive Position einzunehmen, um die Auswirkungen deiner Ansicht abzuklopfen, wenn diese von anderen eingenommen werden würde, um eventuell eine Selbstkorrektur vorzunehmen
Der nächste Schritt wäre dann der kategorische Imperativ. Weil viel zu viele nicht in der Lage sind, dieses simple Prinzip zu verstehen ist die Welt so wie sie ist, ein von Menschen gemachter menschenverachtender Ort.

Dear Faun, thank you for this. Thank you. Danke schön! ❤️ It was so good to hear your voices and instruments again. From the sweet tone of the recorder right down to the crispy percussions and everything in between, I can hear it all, including that breathtaking little silence at the end. Beautiful. And Laura, please don't let yourself be discouraged by those who miss the previous singers. You have a voice that can carry a song even with a minimalistic no-frills melody like this.

I agree about Laura. The negative reaction to her was predictable.because her voice is distinctly different from what people have become used to and there's always a negative reaction to change. She's the oboe where people have been used to the flute, and she's a very good oboe. She gives Faun a new sound - which I expect is why she was engaged - and people will accept her eventually.
I have nothing against Laura. Yes I do miss Katja since I have fallen in love with her voice but to me Laura's voice doesn't fit in harmony with the rest of the singers. I will try to get used to it. Just my opinion. I don't mean to offend. Feuer was one song that I did like however.
