On gawd! Smfh! It's disgusting coz I understand some kids are less than unfortunate, BUT!! Ask parents before using OUR supplies we bought for OUR kids for OTHER ppl kids. It's only right!
My kids in high school now, but when they were in elementary, the teachers asked for dry erase markers for them to write on the board, printer paper, Clorox wipes, etc. Like why is the school not supplying the teachers with dry erase markers and printer paper? DF are our taxes paying for ??!! 😂
@@iamashby6479 , I feel ya! But… as a retired teacher, I do know that teachers don’t receive classroom funds until November! They have to pay for supplies out of their own pockets and the schools don’t refund the money! It’s a state problem 🥹

I'm a teacher, and I usually try to start training myself to go to bed & get up earlier a week or 2 before it starts. This summer it did NOT work. I go back tomorrow, and I HOPE I can get myself to sleep before midnight tonight. 🤞🏻

Like you, I've been unsuccessful too. This Wednesday Aug. 9th is back to work for me i(in preparation for students)and look who's up @2am commenting on a UA-cam video SMH By God's. Grace, the transition is made a little easier by the fact that my students will return the following Monday Aug. 14th. I'm more compassionate towards "my babies"(students) when they fall asleep in class because I understand their struggle LBVS I'm usually very transparent with them and I've admitted to them that teachers are human and sometimes we have difficulty transitioning from Summer Break too. In my 25 yrs. as an Educator I've learned that If children think that you don't care then they don't care what you think. I pray you have an awesome first day back & prayerfully you were able to get some much-needed rest 🙏

All we used to have to buy was a sleeping mat.
Pencils, composition books, and 3-ring notebook paper, that's it, and we spoke coherently and had way more knowledge it seems than these mumble mouth kids today.

Her statements have been true since the 70's😂😂😂. We didn't have games but we wanted to stay up until TV went off. Yes youngsters, there was a time when all the channels went off. It was not an all night thing. I remember my mom telling me and my sister "I'm tired of telling you the same thing Every morning". I'm in my 50's now. This is so dear to me. I wish I can hear her say it one more time. R.I.P mom. While she was fussing, me and my sister would laugh our ass off. She knew us and we knew her. She enjoyed it as well. It gave her something to do. Now when our dad got into the mix, it wasn't funny at all ( R
