'I've come looking for a man... A SALES MAN' - I said that at the same time with Riley :P Also, can't really imagine what Rory would have thought of Gender Trouble or if that influenced her in any way haha Read Master and Margarita twice in my 20s, really loved it, but that cover is horrifying. (There's a really great cat character in that book tho! Although I can't say for sure, cause I have changed so much as a reader since) On the Road unfortunately yes - so relatable!! My score is 52! I did it in parallel with you. Have to say I'm not much into Rory's reading!
Hahahahah, I was hoping I would make some other Buffy fans happy there. I'll probably check out Gender Trouble some time, but I definitely am more interested in her newest one, Who's Afraid of Gender? since it's more updated to today's conversations. Having read a third of them, I can say I'm not that much into it, either!
Honestly, you're fine! I only read half these books because of obligation. There are a few really great ones on here but most of them you're not missing much.
@@theanswerisbooks I was actually! I was better than 91% percent users. 😁 We could compete against one another, though I'll be honest, there's a couple nonfictions that I'll probably never read on the list {Bushisms for example lol}.
As someone who has been known to masochistically read Russians - they DO write long, boring books! And yet I continue to read a new one every few years. But see above, masochist.
My number would be so much lower than yours, but I also decided many years ago that life is too short to read pretentious lit fic, and Rory Gilmore was big on her pretentious lit fic. Your choice to never read Anna Karenina is a wise one - it should be called Boring Russian politics and also this one guy who tries to revolutionise farming. Anna Karenina is a secondary character at most. So long, soo boring.
Oh no, I left in my editing Ashley comments 😂

Interesting video idea Ashley, I went through the list as you were doing it yourself. I've only managed to read 39 of the 339 books listed (12%).

I currently have 171/339! I always love when bloggers do this list, and this was very entertaining. ❤ Thank you for doing the challenge! 😊
That's impressive! Were you better than 99% of users? I want to find some who is better than 100%.

Only 88, but I'm good with that. Jane Austen is on the tbr to bump the number a bit.
88 is a lucky number! Way better than 139. Blech. (I have synesthesia, for context. Also, probably I'm autistic. Ignore me. Hah.)
Only 69. I'm happy with that. Nice number and it beats the average. And Rory does read a lot of boring looking books
heh

Thank you for the validation!
Only 103 for me. Given some of the yuck in the unread part of the list (Proust), I'm OK with that,
103 is seriously respectable! And yeah, lots of yuck on here.
I read half the Al Franken and he got me too’d in the middle of it so I quit
Ew, yuck. Yeah, I glossed over that one on purpose.
Jesus loves you :)
