  • Beta’s RR200 two-stroke only joined the Italian manufacturers’ model line-up a couple of years ago, but it very quickly established itself as one of the brand’s best-selling two-strokes here in Oz. But just how versatile is the RR200? Why is it the only 200cc two-stroke enduro bike on the market? And how have the upgrades made to the 2021 model’s chassis, suspension and component spec improved its performance? To find out, we teamed up with enduro stalwart, Geoff Ballard, and spent a few days tearing through the bush aboard the thing...

I own one here in the states and is great stock. I did add a RK Tek head and really gave it bottom end with no sacrifices elsewhere.

This will be my next bike. To me it has a lot of advantages over the 250 as the 250 uses the same frame as the 300. Love my 300 but would like to try this out and see how playful on really tough enduro rocky sessions.

A few things I discovered on the 4 Betas I have owned since 2015 are the drive chain being too tight from the factory and fender fasteners and engine case bolts not quite tight as they should be.
After correcting those very minor issues. They have been amazing bikes. As go or better than my KTMs and Huskys.

Another excellent video guys. I have the 2021 300rr, beautiful to look at and beautiful to ride, very versatile bike.
Would however definitely consider one of the smaller capacity Beta's next time as the 300rr has very strong power and can be a little intimidating at times.

Great review thinking about the 200. But the first interview you did the wind in the background was bad , now your squeaky boots are a dissatisfaction. Sorry, still a great review. Trying to make my mind up between the 250 ,or the 200. We ride in a lot of sand ,,so what do you think wood be best. And what is the weight difference between the two ?

Trying to decide between the 200rr or the xtrainer. Newer to riding but in the 200lbs range. Didn’t know if the fork would be good for me on the xtrainer. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

200lbs here, had an Xtrainer. Only good under 35mph, then a bit sketchy; the suspension never wowed me. Xtrainer was a very nice bike with PLENTY of tame power.

Xtrainer is amazing motor but the suspension sucks.
