doesn't Sirius use "mobilicorpus" to transport an unconscious Snape out of the shrieking shack? same basic spell, just with -corpus instead of -arbus because it's a body and not a tree
But J's answer makes more sense. The Locomotor+whatever is the most used spell to move things. As a side note, you can control the movement of an object with Wingardium, can't you? Why the need for another spell?
You have to say 'arbus' which is latin. It is still incredibly unhelpful, since they don't seem to teach any other languages (except ancient runes) at Hogwarts.
