Peter Tragos (The Lawyer You Know) here on You Tube said Anthony got a not guilty because the Prosecution went for the death penalty which raises the bar real high for the jurors. If the Prosecution had just gone for Life Without the jurors most likely would have come back with a guilty verdict. Makes me furious.

Perhaps "your" education system needs to be looked at also when you have 12 jurors that came up with a not guilty verdict in this trial. Where the hell were they educated to be so dumb as to come up with this verdict. Again the rest of the world looks upon the United States as a laughing stock.

@@OlgaOlives they did a horrible job. They were given a layup and air balled it. The only thing that couldn’t be proven was the method of killing. Causing an accidental death won’t warrant a death penalty. So going after the death penalty when you can’t prove the death wasn’t accidental is just stupid. That is what lost them the case.
So they already put themselves fighting an uphill battle. Because the death penalty would require them to prove that it wasn’t an accidental killing, they spent way to much time focusing on trying to prove chloroform had a role in the death. It was all speculation. Prosecution could’ve and should’ve established an undeniable motive, and proved Casey Anthony was a liar.
Jurors only can judge based of evidence. When you can’t prove method for killing you’re going to lose the death penalty. Speculation of a method isn’t a method. 99.9% of prosecutors win that. These prosecutors overestimated their ability to prove a method by whiteness interrogation, which is why they lost.

It seems they believed the defence lawyer over the prosecutors. As judge Perry said, the defence lawyer focused all his attention on the jurors and it worked.

They also said the prosecution didn't provide enough evidence.
Not reporting your 2 year old missing for 30 days, partying up a storm during those 30 days, your car smelling of rotting flesh, lying to police and accusing your own loving father of being a pervert didn't raise enough red flags?

And yes, I distinctly remember him stating that. I always thought it was his subtle way of admonishing the jury for getting it so wrong. Most judges wouldn't say what he said, but I believe he was hugely disappointed in their verdict. Also, on a case this big, and especially if it is obvious (like it was in this case) what the verdict should be, a judge sort of tries to steer the proceedings to that conclusion, in subtle and not so subtle ways... He may have even felt like he let people down for that verdict to come in a case he presided over....??

I dont believe that. If anything it was an accident. The things the prosecution were comign up with was pure fantasy. Chloroform? Martial arts moves? Chloroform sniffer?? I mean it was ridiculous just grasping at straws. They had no solid case and there was plenty of reasonable doubt. I think the biggest reason she got off was because they kept making it out like she intentionally murdered her child and they came up with all these "theories" that they had no evidence for because they couldnt all be true. And since they cant all be true, theres reasonable doubt right there. They should have just charged her with negligent homicide and they would have had a much better chance. Zanny the Nanny is a powerful piece of circumstantial evidence if its documented that she said that.

Uhhh no. Now you're just wrong!
Those jurors are supposed to leave their damn feelings & emotional needs, of 'speak to me...not at me...whine whine", outside!
This wasn't about the jury's feelings or emotional dislikes!
This was about truth! A 2 yr. old little girl, dead & all the factual evidence that her mother killed her!
Facts without bias for how they were presented to the jury.
Jose Baez lied and these jurors dismissed truth/facts/logic because they were selfishly serving their own emotional feelings when they looked at absolute truth/facts, & then allowed Jose to change/edit that truth & replace it with suggested lies with no evidence!
Feelings change, they're temporary, insatiable & they lie!
      They are lawless!
Truth never changes and follows the law of constants. Truth is defined by its' law.
That jury freed a selfish, self serving & lawless, child murderer, because they too, think based upon their own, selfish, self serving feelings; feelings that always change, therefore they are lawless!
Calley received nothing from that selfish, self serving group of spineless people.
We have the most offender friendly courts & they fill & overflow prisons! Loved by criminals because our law & penalties are just a bartering tool.
Murderer loses nothing & their feelings are nourished.
Consequences, if any, are only a lifestyle change to adapt too.😂
Our jurors are a gamble, but, the odds favor the offender because jurors will implode when the murderer's story is sad, their mind is diseased and their lawyer repeats a lie long enough.
You don't fix a problem w/the same thinking that created.
The jury lies to themselves & believe that they used their logic. They don't critically think & discern between facts & their biased, self serving, emotional thoughts & feelings.
      Emotionalism is
the popular thinking process utilized throughout society in epidemic proportions.
It is the criminal's only way of thinking.
It is a liar's manipulative tool.
It is the reason that other people & jurors sell out the truth and enable criminals and liars, because people will not stand against lying because they want to preserve it for their own use & call it ok when it helps them.
Jose Baez, & too many other defense attorneys are paid & permitted to lie and suggest lies without proof, in our court rooms; court rooms, where everyone is sworn to tell the truth.
Emotional thoughts based upon feelings that always change is not logical & is not factual. There is no truth in it & it is DEADLY & destructive.
Truth is not subjective to feelings! They don't matter to truth.
Jose is a snake. The jurors are lovers of lies.
      Casey is a murderer.
And our court system & penalties & laws are negotiable & subject to emotionalism and are ineffectual for enforcing true law.
There is no truth without its' law & the penalties for breaking a law cannot be negotiated or changed dependent upon feelings.
The victims in our court rooms are mocked while their murderers replace them by becoming the victim in the trial with the help of liars, suggested lies & undisciplined, emotionally controlled thinkers that are complicit.

There was no legal way to prove her guilty. The prosecutor had zero evidence of a murder. They went balls to the wall, first degree premeditated murder, which put the death penalty on the table, and didn't even have a cause of death!!!! I truly believe if they charged her with negligent homicide or of dumping the body, the jury would've most definitely not only found her guilty, but also sentenced her to the maximum sentence which would've probably put her behind bars for many many years if not for the rest of her life. Blame the prosecutor for this because they know the law like the back of their hands and have many resources available at their disposal and they banked on this jury falling into the media hype. Dont blame the jurors, they had waaaay too much reasonable doubt to legally find her guilty for that crime. Also, it was revealed by Baez the atty for Casey, the prosecutor never once mentioned that someone searched "how to poison", "how to commit murder" and "how to snap a neck" the day of Caylees murder and the defense team sure as heck wouldn't bring that up!!! This Prosecution team was and is responsible!!
