Wow Thanks I used this marker to paint my keyboard plate , I've seen many reviews, some use spray, it's much easier with this marker , now the keyboard it shines a little more than before, :D
Does it bleed and run a lot? I’m trying to get the chrome trim on my 70 Camaro VTA body done with paint… but I’m not experienced enough to mask outer lines yet.
This is like using a marker, you do have to push on it to put the paint on the tip and then you apply it onto the truck, you can do a lot of precision work on this as long as you don’t load the pen on the product you’re actually painting.
seems like to this day this is still one of the best chrome paints available to buy. I wonder what we will have in 10 20 years, hopefully something that makes an almost perfect mirror finish on any surface
I'm very satisfied on the final look of this but your product has to be very smooth for it to give you a chrome look oh, so you might have to finish off your 3D printed items
It is pretty permanent but like any paint if you do scrape it or rub it it will come off oh, but you can always put a acrylic clear paint on it to seal it
Wow I'm actually very surprised by the results! Gonna buy this for my model cars now!
Wow that is a great looking job and the Marker works great. Nice work bud. Thumbs up and thanks for sharing
Thank you for the great comment and thanks for your support throughout the years
@@TheTankRC lol. always interesting content and fun with the obvious love of the hobby. Exactly what I look for in a channel.. ;) Keep it coming
Works as advertised!! I'm amazed!!
I am very happy at the result
How long for it it truly dry?
@@jameshenchy184 About 2 hours to touch, a day to cure. The results are fantastic!
Nice!! Will have to give it a try.
I was very happy of the outcome. Thanks for watching
Thanks for the review! It's a must have👍
yes it is. Thanks for watching
Dope , I’m going to use this on my chrome rims , touch up the curb rash
Yes that would be perfect for that
How did it come out? I’m looking to do the same thing
@@brycepena137 did you do it?
Yeh update please. I’m thinking of doing this to my black chrome rims to hide the scratch a bit.

Yes I like it very much, thank you for taking time to watch the video and to comment I am glad it was helpful.
Excellent well done looks realistic real 😊
Looking really nice.
Thx I was surprised it turned out so good, it's a great product.
Thanks.
Thank you for stopping by, I am glad you enjoyed the video.
How long until it dried completely and no longer tacky/leaving fingerprints?
Are usually leave it overnight the next day it’s fine
Awesome and thanks! 😃
Is this marker a good choice when the painting surface is flat, appx 1/2" x 1"..? Does it come out smooth or can you see the marker streaks?
It will not leave a streak if you use the wider marker from them
@@TheTankRC awesome, thanks. I assume Hobby Lobby carries these?
@@TheTankRC Do they come in other colors, gold, bronze, or even primary colors like red, orange, tan..etc...?
@@jessescruggs1726 yes they do www.molotow.com/produktlinien/marker-refills
@@jessescruggs1726 I'm not sure if they do but some hobby stores do
Thanks for the video I’m interested in buying some of these for my RC modeling
nice 👍
Empty the contents into an airbrush gun for best results. Almost twice as reflective than using the pen applicator.
Thanks for the advice I will have to try it

They do have a 3 mm size. That headlight really looks good
Great item to have as part of modelling paint kit set up.. just ordered one for door trims n details on my rc mustang
Can I use this on metal without a primer first? Would this pen last for a long time or would it rub off? Thanks
Does it hold up real good does it scratch off easy
It is like any paint that will scratch off. If you do scratch it, you could put a clearcoat on it to protect it.
It’ll look shiny as long as it’s wet, what happens when it dries though? And can it be clear coated?
Could you paint over it? I want to use it on the inside of the windows on a transformer, but I want to paint over it so it isn't all mirrored inside.
I need one of these, if my guy ever gets my 3d print done.

@@TheTankRC yeah will sand and lay paint down first. Thanks tank
Was planning on using this on my car’s grille emblem. Anyone know if it’ll hold up to the UV rays and rain without a coating?
Made in?/ Country of origin of marker?
Made in Germany
Can this be used for jewelry ?
Yes it can be used for jewellery, but remember it is a paint so it will wear off
How long tell it drys
Nice review, curious to know if it’s permanent? Or is it easy to rub off?
It is pretty permanent but like any paint if you do scrape it or rub it it will come off oh, but you can always put a acrylic clear paint on it to seal it
@@TheTankRC Have you tested clearcoat on top of Molotov Chrome? Asking because the internet says clear will dull it significantly. 🤔
@@catlady8324 No I have not tested putting a clearcoat on top of it.
