This is so enlightened. I really like hearing about moon in cap from a compassionate place, how beautiful. Thank you Will. Your energy just really shines through. As a person who loves a cap moon, i can really understand this perspective. Often it seems like cap moons are much more ashamed or disappointed in themselves then you could ever be towards them. I would say the biggest struggle here is displacing their feelings about themselves on their loved ones, which makes people defensive towards them, rather than compassionate which is what they really need. Also wanted to add that it made me smile to hear that water signs can loosen that dry earth, because I'm moon in Scorpio and I've always noticed a balance there but never knew how to articulate that.

I could not agree more. The high functioning moon in cap summary resonated with me sooooooo much. I work in business, in HR and I understand people and what they can offer phenomenally well. I wanted to say something about stinginess. For me, it's not about dividing people close to me vs. the world out there. It's usually about "Does this person deserve my generosity?". Capricorn Moon has standards. You either tick their boxes or you don't. This might sound cold, but it's my honest truth - for better or worse. I might feel like a homeless person deserves my help and generosity more than a close family member (depending on the circumstances). I don't think there are many things that bother me more than people who mooch - not due to emotional, psychological or physical problems (which would be perfectly understandable!), but rather, purely out of laziness and a hedonistic, self-centred desire to always have their cake and eat it too, and to use others. Unfortunately the Capricorn Moon influence does attract mooches, specially in women.
I agree. As a Cap Moon, my Gemini Moon-boyfriend was taking my generosity for granted, in my opinion, when his teen children were visiting. I kept buying food, & the next day it was gone. This went on for a couple weeks (I work fulltime and am working on my masters at night). I got so tired of making extra trips to the store after work that I came off stingy for asking him to either ask his kids to not ALL of something and leave some for the next person, or to go buy some groceries himself. And here I am, months later, feeling torn wondering if that was the right action or should I have just kept coming home to all food for the week gone.

+Michele I'm a Moon in Cap myself. well to make a long story short I punched my nephew Last Summer from years of pent-up grudge. basically he tried to mess with a girl that is uncle was messing with you don't do that in the family , you would think that he would have some discipline or some sort of respect but that wasn't the case. basically what you see is what you get.
