- Metal detecting at an old swimming hole and river crossing. Mike and I return to the river where we found so many interesting artifacts on our last trip. Today we find silver coins, old U.S. Large Cents, buttons, copper coins galore, and things so interesting and numerous to mention. I hope you join us!
About Aquachigger:
I enjoy metal detecting for historical items like gold coins, relics, silver coins, and other buried treasures. I also metal detect for gold and silver nuggets and even meteorites. I like to make videos that promote my choice of lifestyle that includes outdoor adventure,
metal detecting, yapping, searching for river treasure, SCUBA diving, exploring abandoned places, hiking, caving, caring for animals and pets, and observing the things outdoors that often go unnoticed by most people who are not familiar with outdoor adventures and nature. I keep my UA-cam "Aquachigger" channel family-friendly and hope you subscribe if you like my style.
BTW, you can also catch me here, / chiggsarmy ,but I may get a little edgier there. FB isn't a place for kids anyway...lol.

It sure looked like the large cebt that you dropped back in the water was a different color than the one that you brought back up. Interesting. Maybe there was a 2nd one.
Epaulets, buckles, bullets ,gold coins, artillery ordenace but a few spurs...wonder why?.
Warning! Chigg will tell you to hold your breath, but won’t tell you when to breathe again. I passed out three times watching this video.😅 Anyway, nice finds guys. This was a fun one. Thanks for taking us along.
lol
One time he didn't even give me a chance. Just as I was inhaling he stuck me under water. Was coughing up water for a while afterward. What a lunatic hahah.
😂
Love ya Chig! Keep it up.
Thanks, will do!
Fun and some neat stuff! I liked the long wooden thing it felt old as if it were full of stories
Particularly cool underwater footage.
The small piece of metal with the wooden handle is part of a fishing reel.
Good Ole metal detecting
Chiggs, you and Mike found some great items. Love the underwater filming. You two have so much fun together. Take care👍👏😀
Ty, been waiting for this all day. I recently bought a waterproof dectior so I can do stuff like this. You're the reason I love this hobby.
Hope you enjoy it!
Thanks for another great adventure! Enjoy watching your videos!
Sweet finds, Chigg! Congrats to Mike on his silver, almost as old as me!❤
That place was practically unexplored , good hunt y'all.
Thanks Chigg 🤘😎 The percussion lock was my favorite.
Sweet! Thank you so much and happy to know you enjoyed the video.
This is why I often tell others Aquacigger is the best with it.
I couldn't imagine having this session....in MD at that.
Much love and HH
Another good one fellers!!❤😅
That long wood thing looked like something to do with old time weaving looms at textile factory. Great finds
I was recently researching "punt guns"... that could of well been a stock from one?? Seemed to fit the profile...
Love your channel Chigg..your a sweetie,heart of gold..funny.
Yes, they’re back. 😁🐶
wow amazing my friend, very interesting video to watch. thank you so much for sharing the video my friend.👍🤝🇮🇩🔔👈

Always enjoy time I get to spend with Aquachigger. Thank you, Beau.
Great day for you young man outdoors in the water chigger stay blessed and safe 👍🙋♂️
Great finds Chigg, awesome hunt. That long wooden arm you found looks like it could be a bellows handle for a forge. Take care and stay safe 👍
Traveling through Chigg country this weekend and Crossing the Antietam creek. 😆👍
Great video. Thank you. Was on the edge of my seat watching that barber come loose. Good to see you on the water. Lock plate was also an awesome find.
Cool finds . nice coins. Lucky you
I always enjoy the underwater adventures, nice finds Chigg, that cap lock, flat button and large cent, all great finds.

Great day on the river for you Chig. Thanks for taking me with you.
I am glad you decided to bring that little nail with you! LOL
Hi Chigg- this is the first video of yours I’ve watched with my 5 year old son (I’ve seen all of yours). He loved it and was very impressed with you getting that silver coin out that was stuck. Happy hunting!
Alright Chiggs it's been a minute since I saw one of your videos and is good to know you still don't skip a beat.
I bet you'll be going back to this spot again a lot of neat goodies in that river
Treasures from down under 😊
Yeah, that dime was tight. Real good finds!
The wood and metal thing at 9:36 is the end to a wood sucker rod for pumping a well. That one is bigger than most.
Great video, amazing finds. I want to join Chiggs Army.
Love the show
Don't get snake bit !
Nice haul guys! A bit of everything! Looked like a satisfying day on the river!
Nice haul Chig! I enjoyed. Lockplate super cool! Coins too. Amazing amount of sinkers in that shallow water? Guys must have been fishing there when river is up. Rk.
Very cool finding the Barber dime and large cent!
this was the best video ever and flat buttons are dated to 1790's-1820's
Cool. Ive always wanted to get into this .metal detecting and gold mining etc. TREASURE..😂
Cool!😊
Thats a great hunt and fun to watch
Good find on the coins. I found some foreign coins in my trash pit when I was cleaning up.
That's awesome
Definitely enjoying the river treasure hunts !
Mike - I love to hear your beautiful accent! Don't hold back. It's a proud reflection of your culture.
Thanks 👍It was just weird how it came out all of the sudden.
Trashy spot but there are still some relics to be had. AT MAX getting it done. Thanks again 😎⚡️🍀
Nice finds! You made quite the haul!
Killer episode chigg 💪🍀🤘😎
The strange Civil War bullet that you found is a Confederate bore cleaning around. There's a piece missing off the back that look like a round table top and when the round was fired it cleaned the bore of the rifle, black powder was very dirty
Williams cleaner
WOW JUST LOVE IT CHIGG! ONE DAY I'LL GET BACK AT IT, HEALTH ISN'T THE BEST.. YOU KEEP ME WANTING TO GET MY BUTT OUT THERE. THANKS BUDDY
Hope to see you out there!
@@aquachigger THANKS CHIGG MEANS ALOT COMING FROM YOU. I TREASURE YOUR AUTOGRAFT MY BUDDY MIKE OF METECTING DETECTING NC, GOT FROM YOU FOR ME... THANKS AGAIN CHIGG
Nice hunt guys, really enjoyed the video. 🇺🇸
beau isn't a treasure hunter, he's a treasure finder!!!
11:11 you didn't hold your breath 😅
Thoroughly enjoyable--nice work! :>)
Thanks for this. Nothing on TV and too hot outside. 🥵
You're welcome!
That was a great hunt and lots of awesome finds. Did you figure out what that large piece of iron and wood was ? Never seen anything like it before. Happy hunting and best regards Chiggs !
Nice thumbnail Mr. Chigg! I think you’re going through a love affair with old bridges right now…I love em too!
I love the cat feet in the pic during the roundup! LOL! Looks like my house! Great job, Chigg! Be safe out there (with your knee brace?) ... Thanks for the video! - Muddypaw 🐾
Glad you picked up on the cat paws....lol. The "knee brace" is just a knee guard for when I have to get on one knee to dig. Those rocks can be sharp.
@@aquachigger I see animals everywhere! It's part of my DNA! Glad the knee thingy is just a protection ... Yes, rocks can be super sharp! (Found that out in March when I had to crawl a half mile on a trail after I broke my ankle! LOL! Don't do that ...) Be safe, my friend! - Muddypaw 🐾
Awesome hunt man!!!
It would be hard to leave that place .cool finds
The RFD lock is from a mailbox. My grandmother had one in a jar of "goodies" when I was a kid back in the 60s.
Good evening from Southeast South Dakota. Good timing. Got ribeyes going over apple wood coals. Don't forget the Budweiser's. Red can y'all
That is how we detect for gold in CA. Check the crevices. Once you hit the heavies, lead/iron, you will also be on the gold.
At 7:15 that appears to be part of a handle from a modern spin cast fishing reel.
Your adventures are over with way too soon! Will always wait patiently as I look forward to your next video.
Canada 1 Cent eh? Neat finds all round, I wonder if the silver ring thing is an ear ring.
Howdy! ❤ I was wondering if you keep all the coins that you find in a big jar, separated from your everyday coins . . . I really like it when you take us underwater!!! And you're funny! (Telling us to hold our breath! Ha!) Thank you!
That’s the hammer assembly from a left handed musket!!
The lock is a rural free delivery postal lock…👍
Watching this as a severe thunderstorm moves through. Lost power.
You should come to California and snipe gold from bedrock some time.
We tried that during drought at So end Motherlode...nuttin!😢 Got a new metal detection spot!
Let's Goooooo!!!!! (I'll be out there this fall)
Water will still be a little high because of the snow pack.. But! Lots of record flooding moving alot of gold. Should be good. I got a trip coming up. Oregon Lode stuff.
Crazy. You find some neat stuff..but would be nice to find some gold in that bedrock eh?..(yes I'm Canadian lol)
Im thinking the wood/metal item could be a tiller arm for a sailboat or barge. It looks close to the ones ive seen
that long wood thing was very reminiscent of a rifle stock complete with barrel band on the end.
You need Batman's utility belt for the small tools you can forget to bring.
The odd bullet you found is in fact a modern muzzle load bullet. I still hunt deer with one. Also, I thought you didn't need a cap on your pinpointer because you do dig with it. Lol
Those are excellent riffles collecting all of the lead sinkers. I dont suppose you have any gold nuggets to find there?👍 at the end between the pictures of the buttons and the knife the tin part looks like a ashtray insert from a vehicle.
Nah, gold is not too far away, but not here.
That brass band you found goes to a musket.
The lockplate looks different than others I've seen dug up. Is it a left-handed lockplate by chance? Thanks for sharing, good luck and God bless.
More!
The RFD on the lock stands for “rural free delivery” - it’s a rural postal box lock
What a day! Tell me, what are the advantages of the A/T Max over the A/T Pro?
1.43 is that a small fish passing by
You had quite the day on the river! I don't have days as good as that on dry land! That V nickel was fantastic, much better than one dug on land! How long do you think that barber dime was there waiting for you to find it?
The lock that says RFD is probably postal.
Rural

That old wood piece looked like it could be part of an old large duck gun (shotgun) stock.
Handle looked like the handle to a fishing reel, bent penny could of been a home made lure.
9:57 Whatever it is. It looks like one of those old glass insulators might screw onto the threaded part.
It's Fun To Have Some One With You So You Can Say OOOOO'hhhhh Look What I Got . 10:00 Look's Like a Arm Off a Old Power Pole. 😎👍✌.
That coin dates back 120k years when the 🌎 was much warmer.
That lock plate is left handed maybe a shotgun plate if I remember the rebs cav carry shot guns
Looks like a cosmopolitan bullet. Found a few of them
The iron and wood thing I think is 1/3 of a surveyor’s tripod.
The wood thingy looks like for an old boat type rutter
