I think this is very clever, showing a simple diagram to illustrate how to resolve this particular dilemma - sure beats cutting up parts and still not getting it right!

It doesn't matter how long this project takes because everything you do is so fun to watch. Your choice of music is always fresh to listen to during production. Hi Brian, thank you as always. I made this diagram of hinges to give a rough idea of how they change depending on whether the hinge is closer to the front or the back, or closer to the outside or the inside. So I think it will be useful for opening and closing any door.😊
It must be so difficult to get the positioning of the hinge pivot points as precise as is necessary on a body of this type. Thank you once more Kenji-san and best wishes.
I am in the middle of doing something similar to a Tamiya Porsche 911 88. With opening doors, hood and bonnet. I will use some of your ideas to complete mine.

Are you referring to a saw with a wooden handle? If so, this saw is from the Czech Republic and was given to me by a Czech person as a gift. Honestly, I don't know much about it.

ちょうどアオシマのパガーニ・ゾンダをフル開閉出来る様に改造しようと思ってたのですごく参考になりました。差し替えでの開閉はやった事あるんですが、ヒンジを使っての開閉はハードルが高そうだったので、やった事はなかったです。わかりやすく解説して頂けたので、初めてのフル開閉改造頑張ってみます。

ドアの隙間をどのように埋めるのか注目していました。ヒンジ側でなく、ボディー側で処理されていたことが意外でとても勉強になりました。ドアのプレスラインやドアモールの加工は、見ているこちも緊張しました～。

なんとなくボディ側を直してしまいましたが😅
@@kenji-plasticmodels ドアを伸ばした場合、両側を同時に開いた際に対称な印象にならなくなってしまうので、ボディー側で対処したのは正解だと思いました！

実車のお話。トヨタパブリカデラックス（UP20）はドアを全開にするとせり出したドア前縁がフロントフェンダーのサイドモールを押し潰してしまうという問題がありました。
押し潰すのは笑ってしまいますね🤣
テコの原理で凄い力がかかるので危ないですね。
