    Hey, so my mouse is kiloNova 3339IC or something its wireless and wired both basically the wireless mode so there wre no batteries but when I put the dongle it makes sound of contecting

    • @FixMyBleep

      So I just looked up your mouse, and here is how it works: Just plug in the mouse to the PC using the included cable and use in wired mode and charge the battery at the same time. Plug in the Wireless Dongle to use in wireless mode.
      So it looks like the cable will charge it up, and after a while (once fully charged up) you can just run it wireless. Hope that helps. Thanks for the comment!

    ADD THIS POINT TO #4 - BATTERIES:
    Sometimes the coil springs on the contacts in the battery holder can get rusty or gunky which will impede the power from the batteries to the actual keyboard. A little baking soda/vinegar mixture or at worst some sand paper/clippers will clear that up, giving you a clean metal coil to power your keyboard.

    Hey! I have the MK710 wich is esentially the same as the one you show in the video. Suddenly died, replaced batteries with new working ones, and when turning on, the keyboard display only shows the 3 stripes of the battery icon in a sequence as if it were charging (1-2-3, 1-2-3) thing that never happened before. And it stays like that forever.
    Everything i've tried is useless... Got any clues?

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  Рік тому

      Hi there, so with mine, the three stripes just stay on steady all the time with new batteries but everything is working and there is an on/off switch on the front right of the keyboard (check that too).
      So the first thing I'd do is take it to a totally different computer along with the dongle/receiver and see if you get anything on that to confirm that the keyboard is the issue and not some weird driver/port thing.
      Next, and dumb as it sounds, verify there aren't any keys that are stuck or pressed all the way down or jammed, check each key make sure they go down and back up.
      You can also try moving the dongle to a different USB port to see if that makes a difference. Good Luck!

    Hi
    My keyboard and mouse was working so far and suddenly stopped working but
    My mouse sensor shows blinking red light as always and in my keyboard i could see the num lock light Blickling... I've checked the Bluetooth connection in my laptop and it shows that my keyboard and mouse is connected...
    Yet both are not working.. can u suggest me a solution pls

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  Місяць тому

      So first off restart your laptop. Next move the dongle/receiver for your wireless, mouse/keyboard to another USB slot. If you are using a docking station, move the dongle directly to a USB slot on the laptop.
      Check the on/off switches on both the mouse and keyboard. Check or pull and re-install the batteries on both the mouse and the keyboard.
      If you still aren't getting anything, the next thing to try would be to move your mouse and keyboard w/dongle to another computer all-together and verify they are still working properly.
      This will tell you if the set is broken, or if it's something just with that laptop.

      Hi there, so a couple things you can try if you haven't already. Remove the wireless dongle, plug it into a different USB port to test and see if that helps. Also verify the keyboard on/off switch is set to on. Verify good batteries, all of that.
      Please also test this keyboard on a different computer so you can also rule out that the keyboard is functioning correctly as well.
      Next, I was able to find this if it's of any help, there are some instructions, and a support link from fantech. Hope that helps.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  9 місяців тому

      So just plug in your USB dongle to your computer, but you also need to pre-charge your keyboard as well before using it wirelessly it looks like (internal rechargeable battery) then you should be able to use it as a cordless.
      If you are using the USB C adapter swap to just the USB if possible, try that.
      Also test it on a different computer to verify you got a good keyboard/dongle.
      Change USB ports too. Hope that helps!

      The Corsair Harpoon will work right out of the box, but for all the cool stuff you will want to install the free Corsair Utility Engine (CUE), Sounds like that's where you got stuck in the app.
      Try restarting the computer, also try updating the generic driver under the mouse driver settings, you may also see if there is a newer version of the CUE software available. Thanks for the comments! Hope that helps you out.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  7 місяців тому

      So this is a wireless keyboard/mouse set that works on a different computer correct? Make sure you don't already have another mouse/keyboard dongle or USB already plugged into the computer you are having issues with. Also you will need to go into the device manager and see if there is a problem in there. (This may actually require a wired USB keyboard/Mouse to get to in order to troubleshoot) Right click on the windows symbol in the lower left corner, select "Device Manager" expand out the tree, look under "keyboards" and "Mice" for anything with a red X on it, or a Yellow Triangle. That means there is a driver problem, or hardware issue. You can click on it and try to "Update Driver." Hope that helps.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  9 місяців тому

      Hello! Yes more than likely the battery needs replacing. The other possible issue is that it's not synching and you may need to swap the USB port that the dongle/receiver is plugged into, one of those two things should correct the problem. Thanks for the comment!

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  11 місяців тому +2

      Would you be able to try this keyboard/mouse set on a different computer just to verify that the problem is for sure the keyboard and not something just on that system? Then we can narrow it down to something just with the wireless keyboard. Once you do that, check the USB port the dongle is plugged into, move that to another port maybe, then the switch on the keyboard, also the batteries/charger if this doesn't take batteries but just recharges, try the keyboard while it's charging to test.

  • @Maxwellthemaltese
    @Maxwellthemaltese 7 місяців тому +1

    None of these worked, my keyboard always falls off my desk, so it might relate to that. Can you tell me a way to fix it, or should I get a new keyboard?

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  7 місяців тому

      If your keyboard still won't work, would you mind testing it on another computer or laptop so you can verify the keyboard is still working? Be sure to take the dongle/adapter if it's wireless and plug that in as well. This way you can determine if you do need a replacement keyboard or not. If everything works on a different computer, the issue may be with your drivers or software and not the keyboard. Thanks!

    This was helpful. My mouse and keyboard stopped working. The dongle was attached to a docking station…always has been. The batteries in both the keyboard and mouse were replaced just a week ago and they normally last many months, so I knew it wasn’t that. Tried restarting everything a couple of times. No dice.
    I know the company I work for has disabled the USB ports on the laptop for security reasons. So I’ve always ignored them as an option, doing everything through the ports on the docking station. When I moved the dongle from the docking station ports, (none of them on the docking station were working), to one of the two available ports on the laptop, it worked! I guess the disabled ports only apply to accessing files and such and not for dongle/wireless communication.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  9 місяців тому

      So is the unit not charging all the say up, or is it disconnecting after a couple moments? Looks like it's a wireless device with a built-in battery that may also have a power-save feature that could be causing an issue. Try all the usual things, also be sure to try the device on a totally different computer to see if you get the same exact results (just to rule out a computer problem) Could still be like a driver update or may need to turn off the power save function.
      You can also try the following:
      Go to device manager
      Expand USB controllers
      Open properties for each of your Generic USB Hub(s), root hub, & host controller
      Go to power management & uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

    Hi i bought a Hp wireless mouse and keyboard combo pack few months ago. now suddenly the keyboard alone wont work but the mouse works fine. I think i hit the keyboard and it stopped working. Is that because of some loose connection or something? Please give a solution.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  3 місяці тому

      Hi there, so a couple quick things you can do to determine if the keyboard has failed. First check the batteries, pull them out, re-insert. Replace the keyboard batteries. Check for a switch on the keyboard, verify it's in the "ON" position, also move the USB dongle to another slot on the computer.
      If none of those things have helped, try moving the dongle (USB Receiver) and wireless keyboard/mouse combo to a totally different computer or laptop. If it's still not working, you know the keyboard has failed. Hope that helps you out.

    • @FixMyBleep
      @FixMyBleep  3 місяці тому

      @@sandeepkarunakaran2104 You can see if the keyboard is at all "serviceable" or not, if there are screws you can remove to open it up, check for loose wires to the circuit board, loose connectors, that type of thing you might be able to re-solder loose connections back together, or plug any loose wires back together, otherwise sometimes circuit boards just go bad. Good luck!

      Ok, so we know the receiver/dongle is working then. Let's look into the keyboard. Pull the batteries, verify they are new or good, re-insert, check direction for starters. Next you may want to move the dongle to an entirely different computer just to verify the keyboard is "good" or not damaged. Also remember to check the on/off switch they sometimes place on the keyboard. Hope that helps.

      If nothing is working, please try your wireless mouse and keyboard on a different laptop or computer just to verify that they are good, and it's not an issue with the computer. That will help to narrow down the issue for you. Hope that helps, then you can go back through the steps once you determine for sure it's not something with the actual keyboard/mouse. I hope that helps you.

      If it was working and suddenly stopped, check the batteries, make sure nothing is loose, contacts are good. Also move the dongle (wireless receiver) to another USB port.
      If that doesn't do the trick, try the new keyboard/mouse set on a totally different computer/laptop to verify the set didn't just literally go bad in case you need to replace it. Hope that helps.
