@@dreddi8432 I felt this! I never realized how much you mental and heart mattered until I actually ran it . Physically I was fine but that battle with your mind was the hardest part for sure
Real runners support other runners. Whether it's an ultra or regular marathon, months of prep is setting you up for success. You are in great shape already! The more you run, you will FEEL that pace. You can look at a regular watch and know where you are in your run. :) congratulations!
This is my first UA-cam comment ever but I needed to comment. Thank you. This video came at the time I needed. I have been struggling with a hip injury and my first marathon is this Sunday. I know it’s my first marathon and everyone says don’t have time goals but I had my heart and dreams on a sub 4 and pre-injury I really thought I had it and was so happy and impressed with all my improvement throughout training. But life happens and I’m going to cross that finish line and be freaking Wonder Woman for doing it with a hurt leg and I’m going to be a MARATHONER!!! Your video was beautiful, inspiring and I definitely cried lol
Hey! Wow, I’m truly honored that my video was your first ever UA-cam comment, that means a lot! 🙏🏾 I’m so sorry to hear about your hip injury, but I have to say, your mindset is incredible. You’ve put in the work, pushed through the setbacks, and regardless of the time, crossing that finish line is a HUGE accomplishment. You ARE Wonder Woman for going out there, injury or not! 💪🏾 It’s easy to get caught up in time goals, but the fact that you're showing up and pushing yourself says everything about your determination. The marathon is about so much more than the time, it’s about the journey, the grit, and the heart you’re putting into it. You’re gonna be a MARATHONER, and no one can ever take that from you. I’m rooting for you on Sunday! You've got this. 🏅 Keep that Wonder Woman energy and crush it!
Congratulations on your 1st Marathon!!🥳 That was really inspirational! I'm in a low spot in my training mentally, and that was such an important message to hear. Thank you! And holy crow, that was Murphy's law in action! Also, Happy Birthday!
@@bigbluefrog thanks so much! I know exactly how you feel . I’m glad you were able to get something from the video . Good luck on your training and marathon
As I think of my first marathon, I am not sure how you did this ALONE!? You should've planned an out and back to your car, brought A portable charger, planned for restroom stops...the crowd in a marathon really help distract the mental fight. You are stronger for finishing!
Thanks a lot for the message, I have huge respect for the way you keep pushing through the marathon and still keep going further, even though some things have been working against you.
I also ran my first marathon on my birthday, the race entry was gifted to me by pure luck, or perhaps destiny. It was an incredible experience that day. Congratulations on the hard earned finish! 💪
A marathon is a marathon. Heckin' great job on your first. Keep up the good work. Nice thumbnail by the way!
@@foreverstorytime2566 thanks so much 😅
I didn't come this far, just to come this far. Quitting is no longer an option.
Love that
Running is pure mental and heart. You showed that in your training and race. That is what separates us runners from the rest of the population.

You lie on the title.
THIS WAS NOT a marathon.
It was a solo long run with NO RECORD.

Appreciate it 💡

What did it take, like 5 hours?😅
What, zero comments?😢 And no subscribers, either?😮

Hey, this is only a marathon, not an ultra, & you prepared for months.😅 Should have been a walk in the park 😅
First one tho
Your comments are weird and unnecessary.
