  • With popular demand, here is the Indian FTR1200! What a beautiful bike!
The 2020 Indian FTR 1200 is an amazing bike! Its got pro taper handlebars, brembo breaks, cruise control and all LED lighting!
This thing is a beat! And I like that whistle it has, usually we only hear from three cylinder engines.

Bought mine last Saturday, at 6'3" with a size 12 shoe and 33" inseam I fit and was able to do a test ride at 37 degrees in beautiful green bay, can't wait till spring. Nice review.

Multistrada enduro 1200 is the best bike for tall rider. 1260 is a bit compromised, but just marginally. You can also get a custom rally seat for better riding triangle.

    Great video as always!
You need to do a tall rider review on the Yamaha MT-10. I keep hearing and reading that equipped with the comfort seat this is the best naked bike on the market for a tall rider.

Thanks for watching! Ive got that on my list to review. I have sat on it a few times and it is a comfortable riding position. Ill try to get my hands on one again soon!

@@BrapModeOn try to get your hands on one with the comfort seat. Apparently it's night and day for us tall riders.

Nice video. Being tall myself it’s problem on some bikes. I bought a goldwing thinking I could adjust or change things to fit me, I was wrong.

Not enough legroom on the goldwing for us :(

You should give each bike a 1-10 ranking for tall rider comfort.

This couldn’t have come at a better time. Went to test ride one earlier today and the dealer said the demo unit needed to be serviced. It had a fuel sputtering issue. I read about these types of fueling issues online. I am probably going to pass on this bike because if the Indian dealer can’t keep their bike running how do the rest of us have a chance?

It's EPA compliant tuning from what I have heard. It's a cold start issue but after the bike warms up a bit it goes away. There are also aftermarket tunes out that have eliminated the issue. Most riders that experience it (which isn't everyone...there are plenty that haven't experienced this) have just incorporated a minute or two of idle before riding to warm it up.

Indeed, the FTR has issues with cold starts in stock form (likely due to required emissions restrictions). However, an aftermarket exhaust and a remapping (flashing) of the cpu with a proven program for the new exhaust takes care of the cold starts. You may want to check out the Indian FTR 1200 forum boards before writing it off. Mine is a hoot to ride with its Toce low exhaust system and proper flash.

i'm 5'8, had to get a lowering kit for mine!

I'm 5'8 too with relatively short inseam, but I don't need to lower this bike alltough I'm on tippytoes with it. Adjusting suspension rebound properly lowers bike slightly.

Christopher Proudlock what lowering kit did you buy? I really want this bike but I’m too short for it
