Cyndi so perfectly articulated why marriage equality is the right thing to do. I couldn't possibly love that woman more than I already do. And having Debbie Harry in the picture too is just icing on the cake XOXO
Two fantastic Americans. As a Canadian in a colder climate area I have watched several videos from Cyndi and Blondie and each one was very entertaining and a lot of fun! Thanks!!
As a penguin living in what used to be the arctic region I heard about the Americans. They are very famous among us. And the two Americas, too. They are great continents.
I met Deborah Harry briefly back in 1976 while she was making her first album. I was at a couple of those recording sessions, particularly for the song-'In The Flesh'. A couple of years or so after that, my kid sister caught Cyndi Lauper's act at some nightclub in NYC. She was still singing with the group 'Blue Angel', and this song was in her repetoire: Her version of Gene Pitney's "I'm Going To Be Strong". Just a few months ago, I was driving on Rt. 95 in Connecticut, when I saw a billboard from the Foxwoods casino (or was it Mohegan Sun?): "Blondie, now appearing with The Damned". It's Holy Week, folks; remember what Jesus told some of His apostles: "The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak".
You must have some very cool memories! DH was to me the ultimate package and more. CBGB which I read all about recently sounded so awesome. Oh, to go back and watch them play there.
@@SkipSpotter Yes, I have memories ('cool'? hmm.). My late older brother was a guitarist for a drummer/singer named Buddy Miles back in '70-'71. They did live shows with a slew of famous rock luminaries from that era and beyond, including The Grateful Dead: "What a long, strange trip it's been"!
@@romanticandperky I wish I had the ability and patience to write an essay or article, on the 70's - 80's on the importance and the power on this era in the music scene. The research would be great fun, and very enlightening.
Two of my faves add Stevie Nicks ,… I’m in! But I think she’s solo QUEEN OF ROCK N ROLL. However Cyndi and Blondie were different sorts I’d still call them both legends forever. All of these ladies survived the crap of the industry. Came out strong and independent. I love all of them also for other reasons.( admiring them all I meant) won’t ever forget . Ladies your music was the soundtrack of my life, love and tragedy I had in life) I am a straight white female) Though I agree with Cyndi and I generally feel, love is love!
+Anibal Miranda More than anything punk is an attitude, also being a woman in rock was pretty rebellious and considered punk. She was also in the punk scene... she even knew Nancy Spungen so she was definately around it all. Not that it makes her genre punk but its the spirit and attitute and how you lived.
Its awesome to see the greats together. Debbie the newer stuff will never be better than the older stuff. We went to see you many years back in newcastle and youmostly promoted your new tunes, it was a massive mistake, please when people go to your concerts we go because of nostalgia, we were brought up with your musis and thats what we want to hear. Yes play your new stuff obviously but mostly your old tunes from the past xx. I would love to see you again but please please remember why we go xx
You do realise these two chicks do not dig each other. just watch there reactions to each others comments. There is no doubt that, If they fought, Cindy would win. I will always choose Blondie for myself every time. And then again, every time there after. Blonde is my love. Don't hit her Cindy, Don't hit her. I will find you.
Bullshit they totally respect each other, Debbie Harry hasn't a bad bone in here body. They work for the same charities they have been on tour together more times then you obviously know. They are friends They have earing aids in from NY and people are talking over each other there and the studio. Cindy has always been a big admirer of Debbie. Debbie has been on Cindy's True Colours Tour Twice and others.
Yeah but I think Debbie and Cindy will have to see what's going on in New York how date still have a good name recognition and I think they're going more to the cetera and hopefully maybe they could talk to people and have people of this radical left stop what they're doing burning down people's businesses shooting little kids in the streets destroying people's property throwing people on subways and in front of trains I would like to see Debbie Harry and Blondie and Cyndi lauper take a stand against us and say no matter what you like Republican and Democrat using must stopped and act like adults
It's actually a blessing that these two are together touring! Unmatched legends.
Fab ! I agree - I love them both
I love how they keep up their original style
Both aged beautifully
They're so gorgeous! So smart and incredibly powerful women. 😍
Two truly immortal iconic women of the 80s, unique and spectacular in every way!
Cyndi so perfectly articulated why marriage equality is the right thing to do. I couldn't possibly love that woman more than I already do. And having Debbie Harry in the picture too is just icing on the cake XOXO

Cyndi's skin is so flawless and dewy.

Rock , papa scissors ✂️ 😆
What the hell kinda questions are they asking them. Awkward. They should’ve just let Cindy and Debbie talk the whole time uninterrupted
I liked them... when they had facial expressions.
