And when you mentioned how the cops caught the wrong guy just for being in the street I was like “Yup that sounds about right.” The South African politics are some of the most corrupt and incompetent in the world. Often times committing the crimes themselves.

Definitely. This guy and the ‘Well I Never’ true crime UA-camr are really good for interesting and unique stories that other crime UA-camrs just don’t think to cover.
In rural Africa people who are found to do what he did have been known to get lynched by the community. It’s brutal, but if the justice system fails them, they have their ways. So him getting out in 8 years means he likely will flee or die, so who knows what may happen.

I'd love to see you do Raoul Moat from the UK. He went nuts a few years ago, shot his ex-gf & her new bf who she'd told him was a cop thinking that'd stop him stalking her. She said that because Raoul had a long running feud with the police.... Unfortunately though it pushed him over the edge & he went out "hunting cops" (his own words) with his sawn off shotgun. He ended up on the run sparking the UK's largest manhunt (involving the footballer Paul "Gazza" Gascoigne in a humorous drunken twist with a taxi ride, chicken & fishing rods)... It ended in an armed stand off with police which ended badly for Mr Moat. The final sad twist was the suicide a couple of years later of a police officer who was blinded from being shot in the face through his car window when he was ambushed by Raoul. Very sad all round. I would love to see you cover this because there's a lot of recorded calls concerning his feud with the police documenting his very obviously declining mental health.. Some argue the entire situation could have been avoided if he'd been handled differently (I tend to agree, after personally speaking to his brother via social media days after the events, he said everyone around him knew this was going to happen but felt no one would listen)..

Tina normally took the bus home from school, but because of being bullied by some school girls, she walked home and was murdered… but not by those girls. This was in 1984, in Pleasanton, California. This was just solved a couple of years ago, after going through quite a few scenarios. 2) Vanessa Lei Samson was kidnapped from Pleasanton, in the late morning in 1997, by a couple and tortured in their self made torture van, then killed and dumped in the Sierra mountains. 3) Lastly, The Castlewood murders, Ernest and Charlene Scherer, in Pleasanton, in 2008. Pleasanton almost never has crime, is voted one of the top places to live and has been voted, the wealthiest suburban city in America. It's in the San Francisco Bay Area, so these murders were all so out of the norm! Also, here’s a link I thought would be kind of funny to add in for you and it describes Pleasanton, but definitely goes overboard on the small town-old school picture of it. Pleasanton is definitely more busy, modern and wealthy, but a liberal and friendly place…(Being close to Berkeley/Oakland) Because of the big companies there, we’ve got quite a diverse population and growing up, we were definitely “Valley Girls!!” We’ve also had some famous and semi famous people come out of Pleasanton. I think you might be exaggerating a bit there.. California currently has the largest deathrow population in the country. Their governor put a moratorium on executions in 2019, but capital punishment is still considered legal by state law in CA, and people are still sentenced to death there... Honestly, where have you seen ANY case in California where a person is found guilty of multiple homicide and be given just a 25 year sentence?

South Africa’s justice system is gonna be the same in america in a couple years. Already is in California.
I think you might be exaggerating a bit there.. California currently has the largest deathrow population in the country. Their governor put a moratorium on executions in 2019, but capital punishment is still considered legal by state law in CA, and people are still sentenced to death there... Honestly, where have you seen ANY case in California where a person is found guilty of multiple homicide and be given just a 25 year sentence?
