Very interesting. I was looking for fuel pump issues for the 1125 and ran across this video. I think I have two buells and my son in law’s Buell is down, this could be the culprit. Thanks for the idea.
Buell Thunderstorm engine basically shares no major parts with a Sportster engine, just the cylinders .. the whole engine is 40% lighter and about twice the power, at least. Buell is now "EBR" (Erik Buell Racing) and 49% of it is owned by Hero Motorcorp, the largest manufacturer of two-wheeled vehicles in the world. The new EBR1190RX is one of the hottest bikes in the world right now.
I always run injector cleaner and also a bit of 2-stroke in my buell to keep every-thing lubed up in the fuel system and also keeps the valves lubed up.
I followed your same steps and when trying to start the motorcycle it did not start, I checked that pressure came out of the fuel line and it does not come out but if you hear the pump working, I checked everything again and it is well assembled, do you know what it could be?
