Is tomatoe (like marinara) sauce causing any white staining as they warn in the instruction?Just got my pressure cooker today and wonder if i can use tomatoes

I know it's late, but from experience using tomatoes in my recipes, I haven't had any white staining in my Pressure Cooker. Maybe if you were just doing tomatoes alone it would be more prone to staining? I honestly don't know. Anyone else out there have experience doing tomatoes in the Pressure Cooker?

+Tupperware with Korinne If I see the pasta result right, I find your pasta a little "watery". Is that amount of beef stock [read: (my words) "a lot" of liquid] a requirement for the cooker to work or could we add more pasta sauce and/or reduce the stock amount for a thicker pasta dish? I had the same concern while watching your "roast beef" video, although, I suggest, draining the residual liquid, adding a packet of your favorite roast beef gravy mix and "Dinner is Served"!!!! I MUST admit your pressure cooker fascinates me all to heck!!!! Thanks!

The pressure cooker does require a minimum amount of 'liquid' to function properly. In fact, there are minimum and maximum fill lines on the inside. As such, you can experiment with different items and different levels of different liquids to find the right balance for you. As with the pasta, you want to make sure that you're not only above the minimum line, but that the pasta is submerged so it will cook properly. Hope that helps :)

ABSOLUTELY!!!! And thanks! I am definitely investing in one of these - sorry! - from my local (Airdrie Ab.) Tupperware dealer. Thanks anyway! LOL!

Could this recipee be cooked in the tupperware stack cooker?

Sylvie Lefebvre without the pressure I don't think the pasta would cook properly and soften. You can always try it and let the rest of us know your results :)

Looks too soupy. Can the liquids be cut down? Also I need to use gluten free pasta.

What about the grease from the hamburger?

It was gives it such good flavor! :) Yeah, so I make sure I use at least 93% lean beef on this one. That way you still have the flavor without a lot of extra grease.

Will this work with gluten free pasta?

I haven't tried it with this recipe, but I have done gluten-free pasta dishes with the pressure cooker before. It's works just like regular pasta.
