Not only did I find this video informative, but very entertaining. I've been interested in learning to drape but thought it might be too complicated to learn. I love the straightforward but uncomplicated way that Nick explained it. I really wish he offered online draping courses because I much prefer that to books
You are the reason i am a fashion designer! Thank you for helping me with my life long dream. As a little boy I always wanted to be a designer. But being from Mississippi that was not going to happen. Thank you for helping me. I owe you everything.
Very interesting to watch. I sew on a much smaller scale (fashion dolls), and while I've accumulated a lot of ready-made patterns, I ultimately want to start designing my own. This video was great because it helps me see not just how a garment is constructed the way it is, but WHY. Once I know the why, I can infer other information from that. Thanks!
Will you be adding a video of how to drape the back princess seam bodice? I searched your page for the 2nd part of the process. Thanks for the great instruction!
Hello :) thank you for an amazing video ❤️🔥 and Ive been learning draping techniques on my own for years, since we only draft patterns at school. May I please ask if there is a method to determine the armhole depth, even that my dressform does not have any arm plate? Thank you so much ❤

Karibu tena
How do I apply this towards a persons measurements?
I’m also curious about that.
Ideally, I think that you would have a dress form that is the size you need. I don't have one, though. >_
What happens when a person is wider and fluffier? Seems like the pieces aren’t big enuf so what do u do?
Nice. Sir.
I have French European!

Is it possible to drape on a human not a dress form? How about draping onto yourself?
I want the garment to fit me not the dressform
