Chrysler Town & Country - AIRBAG CLOCK SPRING REPLACEMENT / REMOVAL (2011 - 2016)

  • Step-by-step guide on how to remove / replace airbag clock spring on Chrysler Town and Country minivan ( 2011 | 2012 | 2013 | 2014 | 2015 | 2016 | TOURING | LIMITED | S ).
    Before starting make sure you have disconnected the battery.
    To remove old airbag clockspring first you will have to remove driver airbag and then the steering wheel. Airbag will be held with two 10mm crews on the side of the steering wheel and three electrical connectors. Once removed you will get access to steering wheel mounting screw.
    You will need a 13mm socket to remove the screw and then you can try wiggling off the steering wheel. If it is stuck you will need steering wheel removal tool.
    Once steering wheel is removed you will get access to the airbag clock spring. remove top and bottom trim pieces to get access to the mounting screws. Then remove three torx T20 mounting screws and disconnect all electrical connectors from the clock spring. Pull of the clock spring and remove turn signal light switch from the old clock spring. You will be installing that switch to your new clock spring.

    horn not working
    airbag light on
    steering wheel controls not working
    traction control light on
    cruise control not working
