Hello and welcome. I've gotten some questions as to whether I have a @glock 19 and if I carry it. Well, yes I do and I do carry it in a ‪@HarrysHolsters‬ IWB kydex holster. I've also installed the ‪@speedsights146‬ night sights which are awesome.
Please let me know what are your thoughts on this set up.
Thank you for stopping by and God Bless.

Glock 19 is still the perfect carry/duty gun here in 2024

My G19 Gen 5 is carried with a Tenicore IWB, my favorite sights are XS Night Sights R3D, an Overwatch FLAX trigger, Kagwerk’s extended slide stop/ release lever, a GlockStore pure tungsten guide rod, my Magwell is 3D printed by “yours truly” and a TLR7 A

I have heard more and more on the tungsten guide rods. Did it make a noticeable difference?

I do have a G19X and I'm a Fan of Johnny Glock as well. I haven't installed my G Performance trigger yet which was discounted as a gift when I purchased and registered my new 19X with Glock. The stock trigger is alright. But my jury is deliberating if it stays in the family. It's competing with my Steyr M9 C2 MF, a Walther PDP 4" Compact, a Sig P6. My mid size team will get thinned. When winter let's go up here in New Hampshire, 58 min drive from Sig HQ - the weakest links will go to consignment. I do think the Coyote peanut butter 19X might be a forever keeper - like my G17 L , G40, and USP 45 Elite - my 6.02" long pistols .
Being retired affords me the time and money to enjoy the whole buffet of pistols. I'd really like to say no to dingus trigger models because hammer fired are so delicious.
Please do a G19 Gen5 comparison with other like sized pistols. A " if you were to keep only one " episode. Cheers 💥⚖️🗽☮️✌️

Glock 19 and glock 26 are my most carried. I use a tulster holster oath. Very good holster. I have aftermarket stippling grip but shark coast. Barrel is ported as well as slide but honestly i switched the slide and barrel to one of my G45 slides and barrel, since its better for EDC. I may switch it back. My sites are stock. I am fine with them but may switch them

I love the Glock 19. I have a Gen 2, 3, and 4. But for appendix carry I prefer a DA/SA pistol with a decocker. Wow! That trigger is light! I definitely would not carry it. Very nice sights though. I've never seen those.

I just splurged on the Trijicon DI night sights and I don’t think I can ever buy a different sight set again. It’s probably overpriced, but I genuinely think it’s the best option. When I turn my Surefire X300 on at night indoors the light bouncing off the walls is collected by the fiber, but the tritium back ups are there until I turn it on.

How do you like the 19 compared to your LTT PX4. I've been playing around with a stock PX4 and it is a easy shooter.

    • @MDpolo

Apples to oranges, but I would take the LTT all day long over the 19. Thank you so much for stopping by.

Unfortunately, once we leave UA-cam, it’s like herding cats. Everybody goes to different platforms and the reach becomes fractional to what UA-cam gives you. I completely agree with you though. I wish everybody would just migrate to Rumble. Thank you so much for stopping by and for the subscribe.

Intro says, "UA-cam: This gun is 100% as it came from the factory and it has not been modified in any way." Then dude proceeds to talk about all the modifications he's made to his glock. (Sights, performance trigger, extended slide release, tungsten guide rod, flared mag well insert, etc., etc.) 0:15. Starting off the video with a falsehood doesn't give me much confidence in the channel or presenter.

Fair enough. That was supposed to have been removed in editing and it’s only supposed to be inserted in videos of guns that are 100% stock. That’s something I missed when I reviewed the video. Thank you very much for stopping by.
