I remember this show when I was a youngster. After going through VHS tapes, I found this episode, and it was completely scrambled while the audio was playing. This is way better video quality than the scrambled one.

Wink's previous game Tic Tac Dough was replaced by Jim Caldwell for its final season.

    That typewriter chatter is horrific.

Saw this a couple times while on Christmas break in south Florida-it aired on the rival station of WINK-TV

Sound like Carlos Santana did the theme music for this show.

I never understood why they had couples play the game. And I asked the same question about Gambit and Play The Percentages also.

Play the Percentages was a better game under the couples format

Wasn't that "ding" sound used on "Wheel Of Fortune" , when the called letter was in the puzzle? And were those scoring displays also from "Jeopardy!"? After all, this show was produced by Merv Griffin.

This show needs a comeback, and it's all up to Sony Pictures Television and CBS Television Distribution.

Only way I see this making a comeback is if it airs on History (formerly known as The History Channel).

With so many talk shows and shows involving judges on daytime television today, we need a little more variety in what would entertain us. The Price Is Right may be the best, but another game show in the morning would be a better way to entertain us without having to deal with other people throwing their slant on whatever topic they wish to discuss.

the audience was quite small for this show, should've had a much bigger audience (like a Price Is Right sized audience)

Why are they given the option to play or pass? And what happens if they passed

Matt Shroyer i believe it was because they keep their winnings, win or lose. But yes it would have been stupid if they had passed. They would automatically lost.

Wasn't Jeff on PYL in 1984?

That was him from January 5th, 1984. He had the moustache as you might've noticed.

They spelled Mother Teresa's name wrong...could have caused them to lose.
