I have a 2000 XK8 with 56k miles and a 1986 Porsche 911 with 100k miles. I am going to keep both for a very long time!
Nice cars and looking like a great investment 👍🏾
Love the classic XK8 looks
👍🏾
When you see a Jaguar XK8 up close, you can't help but stare at it's beauty. especially in Ice Blue. 3rd in line behind the stunning best car ever made Jaguar XJ13 and the obvious Jaguar E-Type. Mind you, the D-type was pretty darn good as well. Often forgotten and overlooked.
Thanks for the comment.
You sound like a big JAGUAR fan 👍🏾
I would buy a Jaguar over a BMW or most anything else I have had a couple and found them to be excellent cars comfortable handled well good ride dependable
Sounds like a good decision
@@CarsofSwedenlive I just did
Great video.. What type of Cameras are you using, I could not make them out..
Thanks Mitch.
For my main camera I use a Panasonic Gh5 and Gh5s
The in car shots are with sony action cams FDRX1000V.
Hope that helps🙂
Beautiful car
It's a lot of car for the money
Hey dude. How much you the a 99 Jaguar worth with an blown engine. The interior an paint looks great
It's really hard to say, but I would start looking at how much an engine will cost and work out from there how much to spend on it.
Im looking to buy one that has sat up for 3 or 4 yrs. So I'll have to change gaskets an fluids an the previous owner said blue book value is 8000 to 9000 what do you think
I'm going to guess you are from Canada, and you're speaking about dollars.
That price sounds reasonable, but you have to have some wiggle room for unseen repairs. I would go into it knowing that I might have to pay another 2000 on getting it right.
@@CarsofSwedenlive no I'm from Louisiana an I told the guy I can't pay that much for a car that's not running. So I'm thinking more about paying 2000 r 2500 for it
@@regwhouwit4795 Sounds about right
Someone selling 1998 xk8 for 7900 with 69k miles. 2 owners, looks beand new. Is that a good deal?
Go through you check list and make sure it meets all your expectations. Buying a car is subjective, so if you want it and can afford it, the price is right.
Good luck dude.
It requires tlc. Its the Jag Ford years. No more spares are manufactured.
@Chrissurfs in the UK we have a great jag club, plenty of parts available! Some for jag are unavailable, but tap in the part number for Ford, they are there, and cheaper! Remember, before ford, it was British Leyland! Ford were much better!
Just like the e type... like a tongue.
👍🏾
I love the looks, performance and comfortable Jaguar ride, last years before it became whatever it is now. I wouldnt buy it though, not even accept it as a gift. These cars came with gremlins.
Sad but true 👍🏾
