I have to imagine that within the world of the game, the 8-fold Longblade was the inspiration for the Yiga Windslicer; trading durability for power and range
Not sure if anyone here knows but there is another Phrenic Bow in Kakariko Village. It's in a chest on top of a hill nearby where the Eightfold Blade is found. You need to use Magnesis to pull out the chest. This bow has perks attached to it including Attack Up +15, Durability Up, and Quick Shot. I'd recommend saving near the chest and reloading until you get your desired perk.

The master sword only does, like, 30 DAMAGE. Plus it has to recharge which takes 10 minutes! NOT WORTH THE TRIAL OF THE SWORD NOR DOING 24 SHRINES AND GETTING 13 FREAKING HEARTS.
It's kind of sad that A: Most people don't know the longblade has a different charge attack (Foward slash from the side) than all other heavy weapons, and B: Nintendo didn't use said charge attack more often.

I think the eightfold long blade is the coolest weapon in the game and if i was making an update to the game id make a smith npc to increase the durability to insane amounts just so i could use it for days on end, same with the royal weapons, or have a dlc were every weapon has infinite durability. This way i could carry my favorate weapons without fear of breaking them.

Retired Rebel he purposely showed those that respawn as they are a reliable way to get them again, there are plenty in chests especially at the very start with the phrenic bow but those only come once so he’s not gonna show them
I found the Serpentine spear fairly early on in the game, got it off one of those tall red bokoblins between Kakariko and Hateo Village, but i lost it unfortunately
Sometimes I wish you could make weapons do more damage by a way of leveling it up because the eightfold longblade is so cool yet it only does 32 damage
In dutch the royal guard equipments is refered to as sheikah instead of royal guard, so maybe in a a sense the spear, shield, sword and longsword found in hyrule castle are also sheikah weapons??? Idk, just something i tought about
What about the Royal guard a sword it's a version of the master sword created by the sheikah but when the tried to use it to seal the darkness it became a dark sword.
I scaled the cliff on Kakariko village with the blue nightshade, silent shroom, and a supposed sunken chest on its peak as seen on the video but the chest wasn't there. Is this a bug? You're supposed to use magnesis on the chest to dislodge it from being sunken and once you open it you'll receive a Phrenic bow.
What is the point of the eightfold longblade when you have the edge of duality? The edge of duality does much more damage and im pretty sure it is more durable then the eightfold longblade. So does anybody know tge difference?

At 0:36 he passes a chest with a pheridic bow with attack 26 and attack up +16 so you don't really have to fight the silver bokoblin

hey the royal guard stuff is sheikah tech aswell it just breaks easy but for lots of damage
learning the blood moon respawns weapons as well makes this easy enough to find as much as you want of those and any other weapons

actuallly it says the royal guards sword is a sheikah REPLICA of the master sword and is black for some unknown reason
