It's best going on it Backwards. I've done both and Backwards you look so high up because your looking down at everything beneath you.
The Launch also feels significantly faster going Backwards as well.
I'm glad to have This SUPERMAN Escape From Krypton at my Home Park at SFMM. Just wish they'd keep it OPEN way more than they do.

It’s good to have the original facing forward back on the left side while, they kept the facing backward on the right. But, I recently went to six flags last 2 years ago.

I remember when I first went to facing forward as a kid until they brought the forward side to the left of the tracks as I went to the same ride as an adult.

@@dannyVTech He was marveling! We then talked about gravity and force and he absolutely understood it. And also don't do what Mom just did bc it's risky & kinds dumb. He also found out that g-forces suck on Viper. He knocked his head around and was like, eff that ride! 😂 It was funny at first until his laugh turned to tears. I saw him get jolted, but he really wanted it to be fun...it's probably the roughest ride so far for him. Mom loves it! He would ride it again now so we're def trying to get to LA in the fall. Thank you for for posting these videos! I feel so at home there. I grew up going to SF Great America in IL, so I have high coaster need/expectation, 😂💁♀ and SFMM meets it all for me. I can't wait to go!

If I'm being honest, the amount of rides I've been on kinda desensitized me to the thrill. When I rode this back in 2021 I didn't feel anything, I'm not saying this to be "the cool guy," but I really don't get anything from these rides anymore.

While I haven't had the chance to do either of those, I have done cliff jumping during my time on vacation in the Philippines about four years ago. If I ever had the chance to skydive, I would.

Yeah they changed it , it was awesome when it was Escape and it went backwards

Actually, it's the other way around. The Escape originally went forward when it first opened in 1997. It WAS supposed to open a year earlier, but they were having trouble with the lsm launch, being that it was a prototype.
They changed it going backwards on both tracks in 2011. Recently(2021) one side goes forward(seen here), and the other side remains backwards.
