The mane, the myth, and the legend John Glover, aka Lionel Luthor, joins Tom Welling and Michael Rosenbaum as we officially wrap up our rewatch of Season 1 of Smallville and the finale episode Tempest. It was a treat talking to Glover. He remembered what it was like going from a guest star to a regular, how deep the theme of family was in the show, and his true opinion on the character of Lionel Luthor. P.S: I promise to be a patreon supporter at the start of the new year. I remember seeing Tom on Jay Leno, discussing the family values the show was so good at promoting. The series was more than just a TV show to many of your fans, and I hope you someday acknowledge that. For me the show was an inspiration that matched the symbol on superman's chest. I bought 14 of the "Go Forward" dog tag sets, and have given 6 sets away so far. I wish all the cast members a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

You completely underestimated Stray. The kid was perfect in his role, and it brought out a human side of Clark that was never seen again. I consider it one of the best episodes, and having "Kryptonite" in the song at the end of the episode was icing on the cake. I think you should have had a have a best song survey. I consider these two a tie for first place:

Smallville is the greatest show on Earth I've ever seen in my life and I just want to say that I really love you guys, I love what you're doing and you know just watching these are like I can already see the joy that you guys have for acting when you guys are reliving these experiences is always fun moment and joyous moments like that is just awesome to experience and I love you guys and I will wish you guys will continue doing this for as long as you can up till season 10
Best guest star was Ryan Kelly for me too. That episode was powerful.

The effect that has surprised me, and that is still the best even today, was falling debris on characters.
Usually, a big slab of concrete will bounce on actors, and then bounce lots more on the floor. But in Smallville? They felt heavy, and looked heavy as they would fall, and not bounce at all.
My jaw dropped on the floor the first time I saw a scene with falling debris, and it has remained there since, with said debris, lol.
Fights are also amongst the best in the super-hero genre. Congrats to the FX team!
