Everyone knows that when Miyazaki was a child and was being hit with a belt, his father would swing the belt with a delay so that he couldn't dodge it. But few people know the continuation of this great story. One day, Miyazaki adapted to this, memorized all possible frames of the belt, and no longer took any damage. However, his father didn't give up and spent two years finding a new way to surprise his beloved son. Now, his father dealt ten times more damage with the belt, jumped around the room like a madman, and used quick combos of strikes (mixed with the good old delays), making it impossible for Miyazaki's eyes to focus on him. But the father knew that even this was not enough to surprise his son, so now his belt always dealt area-of-effect damage, in case his son tried to roll behind him. And even when Miyazaki thought he was safe and could drink his bottle of Fanta, the belt attack would reach him from across the room. These memories inspired Miyazaki so much that he dedicated an entire DLC to his game "Elden Ring" to this experience.

Only thing this needs is a proper photo mode. Spectacular design and vistas and it’s RIDICULOUS how the more you explore the larger the map keeps growing!! If the people that were complaining about the difficulty actually PLAYED the game they would get everything that they need to continue to push through the challenges. Also enough with the hate on summons just use the effing summons and NPCs - you get lore, items and further their quest lines you WANT to summon the NPCs-I loved Igon’s VA - it was awesome hearing him during that battle!
To anybody complaining that the DLC is too difficult, you are the problem, you dying to any enemy is depending on you,, If you have played all other souls games especially Sekiro and Bloodborne and think this DLC is difficult, than just shame on you,
I mean it's kinda fair though. Sekiro was a cakewalk compared to this DLC unless you use a strength build, which puts it in easy mode. The DLC isn't the right kind of difficult like the base game, it's just imbalanced. All builds should have the same chances of beating the game if they're built properly and it's like that in the base game but couldn't be further from the truth in the DLC.
wdym especially sekiro? sekiro probably has the lowest skill ceiling out of any of the games. and you cant possibly say the last boss is remotely fair, bro is the CEO of epilepsy. the rest is great tho for the most part
Elden Ring and Shadow of The Erdtree are absolute masterpieces and deserving of all the accolades they have received. My favourite videogame of all time just got even better with this expansion. Thank you to everyone at Bandai Namco and From Software and congratulations on a successful launch
They COOKED so hard making this. My favorite expansion since Old Hunterd and Ringed City, but with a magic that’s all its own I was so sad after finishing it at 40 hours 😂 but time to take a different character in!
I originally just pre-ordered SOTE but I was so impressed with it I bought the collector's edition upon completion. This is the game that truly earns the title of masterpiece.
This is the only place I hope they’ll see this in. Bandai Namco and From Software please listen: please make more DLC, like please. This is a generational game. And we still have somethings to uncover. The Gloam Eyed Queen, Godwyn The Golden, or the Badlands or the Land of Reeds etc. Point is…we have more to uncover. All we want is to keep playing. So please. Don’t stop here. This was an incredible DLC and I sincerely hope we see more. I hope y’all read this 🙂👍
They added all sorts of fun new concepts, status effects, sorceries, incantations, and ashes of war to fit different builds, and then didn't really flesh out the majority of it. For instance there are only 2 hand-to-hand (don't know why they didn't call the class martial arts) "weapons", and one is a carbon copy statwise of the other with a slightly different moveset.
I really hope they do a follow up to this even though they said they have currently no plans. I mean they some how managed to improve the art design, levels and ramp the boss battles up to the point I've forgotten most of the boss fights from the base game.
It's Amazing !!!! 10/10 Don't listen to peoples bad reviews about the difficulty getting stuck in one of these games and overcoming them is the difference between a good boss into an experience you'll never forget !!
Boss rush mode to cap off Elden Ring would be amazing. Thanks Fromsoft. The dev that just keeps on delivering. The dlc has been a truly incredible experience.
Best dlc I've ever played put 350 hrs into 3 playthroughs. I'm now at 435 so almost another 100hrs in dlc and I'm about halfway through I'd say. But I'm a every inch type searching player. People sayn it's too hard are just bad I'd say. I'm on ng3 and only lvl 301 and it's fine. And heard they nerfed enemies and buffed us so it'll be even easier now. People just don't know what they are doing. In theory I should be getting wrecked on a plus 3 cycle in the dlc but it's absolutely beautiful in every way I truly don't want it to end hence my slow pace.
I Love the DLC and I love Elden Ring. The DLC is even more rewarding. No summons, spells or incantations other than buffs. At scadutree+7 and have killed many bosses. I have 15 fragments to level up, but wont until I hit a brick wall. My guess is that will be Messmer. I have used GUTS, Zwei, Great Katana, Dragon Great Katana, Martial Arts(just for mobs) and now using the Fire Knight Greatsword. Just beat Midra after many attempts, but a fair fight. I have gotten my arse kicked over and over again. But each victory sends a chill up Messmers spine. I'm coming for you🫵. Also, screw you Storehouse. That was a nightmare.
Well deserved praise ❤. If this was the final game they ever made no one could have asked for what we got, but knowing that we might get a game of quality like this in the next 5 years from this studio makes me feel in lucky to be alive at this time.
Really love the difficulty. Here is a short story of my Elden Ring experience since it came out the Day 1. I started as a Wretch not knowing a single thing about Souls games just with the idea going from a poor noob to the Great Elden Lord. I was astonished the very moment i opened the first door in the game, i was humbled by the Scion and i kept being humble and respecting every enemy as my worthy adversary. Ahh one of my best gaming memories. Time flew by and i was getting slowely but surely to mastering the game, timing hits, soft capping stats, basically just playing with my enemies and i felt like i was invincible, like i own the game. Then BOOM Shadow of The Erdtree MATAFAKA. I re-learned to be humble even with my 200lvl character on NG+ and it hit me so hard like i was playing the game for the first time again, instead of feeling like a god i started using every sense there is in my body. So... This is my love letter to SotE
Was a truly beautiful experience. Also really loved the secret pathways in this game. And that feeling after beating the final boss after 5 hours was something else!
It deserves every one of those except for the 9/10 from Metro UK Gauis made me cry. I loved every goshdarn second of it. Don't nerf DLC bosses. We love you Fromsoft

Also enough with the hate on summons just use the effing summons and NPCs - you get lore, items and further their quest lines you WANT to summon the NPCs-I loved Igon’s VA - it was awesome hearing him during that battle!
Just wanted to say, Thank you From Software and everyone who accumulated work to this masterpiece.
Metro UK 9/10? skill issue i think...
Me still on gayle
i see what you did there
To anybody complaining that the DLC is too difficult, you are the problem, you dying to any enemy is depending on you,,
If you have played all other souls games especially Sekiro and Bloodborne and think this DLC is difficult, than just shame on you,
I mean it's kinda fair though.
@@WroxalI've met people who can have beat eldenring but gave up on sekiro. Difficulty is different for other people.
yup next week we gonna see these no hit + every boss+ lvl1 runs
Isn't commander gaiss busted
Elden Ring and Shadow of The Erdtree are absolute masterpieces and deserving of all the accolades they have received. My favourite videogame of all time just got even better with this expansion. Thank you to everyone at Bandai Namco and From Software and congratulations on a successful launch
They COOKED so hard making this. My favorite expansion since Old Hunterd and Ringed City, but with a magic that’s all its own
I was so sad after finishing it at 40 hours 😂 but time to take a different character in!
Godwyn dlc when
Never
A Godwyn dlc would be pointless, his story is finished in the base game.
Complete side quest with fia deathbed companion this is dlc
Godwyn has been cooked since the beginning, his literal soul died and cant be resurrected. Miquella tried with a ritual at Castle Sol but failed
@@MaksMelayev-kg5hg I’m just salty that the age of duskborn didn’t get its own custom animation like flame of frenzy or age of stars did
How about you fix the garbage optimization fromsoft.
amazing. This DLC could have been named "Elden Ring 2" and I wouldnt question it. FromSoft, you nailed it!
I'm a few hours in and I couldn't like it anymore than I do! Masterpiece and damn near perfect in every aspect! Well done fromsoft
Well deserved. Best dlc ever made. Pls don’t change anything.
Elden ring base game have a beauty and charm that is exceptional , and the DLC have out done it !!!! 10/10 best game ever!!!
One thing i was really looking forward to was new sights and crazy art design and this expansion does not disappoint!
I originally just pre-ordered SOTE but I was so impressed with it I bought the collector's edition upon completion. This is the game that truly earns the title of masterpiece.
I just finished 100% soloing it last night. PERFECT! 10/10. The best Souls DLC to date.
Well deserved, it was a genuine labor of love. So inspired! The environments, lore, character design, and of course combat choreography, … stunning.
0:21 best transition for second phase boss I think I’ve seen
Well deserved praise ❤. If this was the final game they ever made no one could have asked for what we got, but knowing that we might get a game of quality like this in the next 5 years from this studio makes me feel in lucky to be alive at this time.
There are the most intense boss fights I ever witnessed and I love it.
Masterpiece, Thank you all
mixed reviews on steam is criminal this shit is a masterpiece
OMG, the music is so epic! Love the journey so far!
Utter perfection. FromSoft showing yet again that they have some of the best talent in gaming for nearly 2 decades
From Soft we love you. Thanks for being here for us.
Was a truly beautiful experience. Also really loved the secret pathways in this game. And that feeling after beating the final boss after 5 hours was something else!
COLLECT THOSE FRAGMENTS!
Thank you for this masterpiece, I am in awe
you gotta love how they stay humble by adding the 9/10 from Metro UK
This was a 10/10 on top of a 10/10. If the expansion was stand alone, it'd be GOTY and still easily top most modern releases with little effort.
It deserves every one of those except for the 9/10 from Metro UK
Gauis made me cry.
I loved every goshdarn second of it.
Don't nerf DLC bosses.
We love you Fromsoft
Miyazaki smokes on the sidelines with his masterpieces / Миядзаки со своими шедеврами курит в сторонке
they should make a sequel to Elden Ring that takes place before the shattering and then add a dlc about the “Badlands” which would take place right before the Tarnished are called back to the Lands Between leading us right back into the first game… just a thought :)
man this trailer alone deserves a fucking 15/10....AMAZING!!!!!!
Goosebumps... Just Goosebumps. What a time to be alive!
That's right, it's one of the best games ever, so get to work and make Elden Ring 2, so we can buy it.
when your DLC is a would be complete game from other gamedev companies.
I am not sure how you can possibly top this, but maybe the next Sekiro or Bloodborne will show me! Thank you for everything!
Honestly my favorite piece of gaming content ever made
