    Please note I am not an expert of face masks. I am following CDC guidelines and making face coverings to protect others and my family. I researched diligently and used the filter that is best for my family. You will need to research and do what’s best for your family.
    The 3M Filtrete Filter I am using is made of
    Plastics #5 Polypropylene (PP) is considered to be the safest of all plastics, (it is not made of fiberglass) this is a robust plastic that is heat resistant. Because of its high heat tolerance, Polypropylene is unlikely to leach even when exposed to warm or hot water. ... Polypropylene plastics can be re-used safely and with hot beverages.

    I used a thin piece of wire , maybe a stripped bread tie or something, make a loop and twist the ends a few times that works for going through the buttons . Then I go back to crochet hook to finish in the end . Great video !!!

    Oh my goodness! Thank you for sharing. It is such a quick and easy pattern. I've been looking for one that I can make quickly. I'm due to have my third child in February and I was hoping if time allows to be able to make my nurses these while I'm waiting. Usually I have about nine hours, so hopefully I can get a few made for each.

    Is it the same amount of stitches for a child size? My grandchildren may be returning to school and I want them to be comfortable. I love watching how other people hold their hooks, LOL! I hold mine the way my Grandmother taught me when I was 10.

    I am looking at making one of these for woemn who wears hijabs. But I can nvr get the correct length. Some women in hijabs have their hair tied up in a bun... this requires longer length but how much longer do you suggest I should do? Please advice

    • @mavish153
      @mavish153 4 роки тому

      you may try 5 to 6 inches if the person tied up her hair into buns. i use 5 inch one for a smaller bun.

    This is a great pattern. The one I have been using uses 2 rows single crochet and they are curling. It is very frustrating. Will straighten out once I put on the buttons or should I start over with this pattern.

    • @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie
      @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie  4 роки тому +1

      It should straighten out with more rows and buttons. I would also suggest loosening up your tension a bit. ❤️

    Is this yarn the equivalent to double knitting here in the Uk please? Nice Vid very easy to follow x

    • @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie
      @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie  4 роки тому

      Tess Jones a sc crochet is equivalent to a dc in uk terms - is that what you mean?

    • @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie
      @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie  4 роки тому

      A dc would be equivalent to a treble in terms I believe

    • @marina_m11
      @marina_m11 4 роки тому

      Tess Jones I believe she’s using worsted weight yarn (4 weight) which in UK terms is equivalent to Aran. DK is a bit finer, US calls that a lightweight 4 or a 3 I believe. So this pattern done in DK would turn out smaller. You can adjust the starting chain

    • @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie
      @CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie  4 роки тому

      Approx 4- 41/2 inches. I’m not sure why yours is longer? - maybe yarn difference or hook difference. Also if you crochet loosely?
