Congratulations on that awesome new 350! I thought I'd recommend that you consider spraying LINEX into your bed as opposed to putting a bed liner into the trucks bed. I've had my LINEX spray in my pickup for over seventeen years and has been the most durable product I've ever seen! And to keep it looking new, all I have to do is spray tire dressing on it and it revives it's like new appearance. Bed liners don't allow the metal underneath the insert to dry out promoting premature rusting of the bed. Anyway, thanks for sharing your new purchase and enjoy, as always, your fun UA-cam site! I love my 2022 f450. Your blind spots are on the back doors to rear wheels. Get a block heater for the winter when it gets under 40 degrees outside or you’ll have a hard time starting just off your glow plugs. You’ll not harm the engine just idling too. Synthetic 5w40 Valvoline diesel oil is the best for the power stroke engines too

I remember when I was younger, I actually put some of my college money towards an F 350.
It had the towing package and a plow.
It was such a huge beast of a truck.
And it wasn't even a dually like hers.
I felt like I was King of the road.
Those powerstroke diesels are amazing but Ford's tend to need a lot of maintenance.
Maybe they're different nowadays I don't know, it's been awhile.
These trucks are a beast. I drive a '21 f250 for work and it definitely takes some time to get used to. Can't wait to see the changes you'll be making

Don’t let that DEF run out otherwise it WILL “derate” or greatly reduce power. And you’re risking damage to the DPF system. Be careful on areas of standing water. Going too fast through those areas will break the plastic fittings and will loose coolant. Please learn from my mistakes. Those blindspot mirrors (bottom mirror) will be more useful being a bigger truck. As far as external modifications a full on ranch hand cattle guard on the front will make it even meaner. If you go that route a front winch is possible. Recommend a matching rear bumper. As far as bed I recommend a Rhino line spray in. Given your living area change the oil every 20k and change the air filters every 4 months. I don’t recommend lifting this truck just yet. It’s too new and don’t risk the warranty on the truck. If you decide muddy grips or an all terrain tire stay with your manufacturer tire size. As far as maintenance definitely keep that creeper close lol. Chances are you have factory installed auxiliary switches. The choices with those on how to use them are virtually endless. I noticed that you didn’t get the high output engine (would have been a red badge). Given it’s a “1 ton” truck it’s pretty strong as long as it’s treated well.

Don't forget when you get fuel fill the def. If you run your engine out of that you are going to really be hating your life. It plays a bigger part in how well your truck runs and the computer wont let do to much uf it does run out. Just a reminder from a truck driver that has to deal with Def every day. The truck looks more beautiful with you in it and on it.. thanks for sharing. Much love. Stay healthy and safe.

Also be careful when you get your diesel fuel. I purchase only from high volume diesel fuel locations. You don’t want to go a low volume diesel fuel station and get contaminated fuel. Contaminated fuel will take out your high pressure pump sending metal through your fuel lines and all injectors leaving you with a $12k to $16k repair. Always add diesel fuel additive at every fill up. Replace your CCV when it’s time to replace it. At full your DEF should last at least 5k. Don’t let def do below 1/4 tank.

Nice Truck Doris. Look into an Inyati spray in bed liner. Below the rails. They look so much nicer and are very durable. I've had mine since 2007 and it still looks great. The slide in liners scratch the bed and cause rust spots. Anyway just an option. Again very nice Truck, enjoy..

Te felicito de corazón Doris por tu nueva adquisición, es un hermoso Truck tú F350. Ahora bien si no me equivoco debería tener un Motor Cummins Power Diesel 4bt o 6ct que es un excelente motor. Sólo te digo que la mecánica diesel es totalmente distinta a la mecánica de gasolina, para que tengas una idea un motor diesel no utiliza bujías porque no hay chispa como el motor de gasolina. Mi recomendación, coloca o adapta un filtro trampa o separador de agua en la línea de combustible diesel, para que siempre lleve el diesel limpio y din agua a la bomba de inyección, que es lo mas delicado en un Motor diesel. F450 has the wide fender flares because the front axle is wider by about four inches allowing it to have a tighter turning radius. F450 also has beefier suspension and bigger brakes wheels and tires. I own a 19 f450. If you want more power with out voiding warranty go with banks idash. There is a lot of modes for these trucks. Just carefully do your research. Oh by the way is that the H.O. 6.7 high output.
Yup. That is correct. I loved the extra turning radius when I tested one, but the ride was way way more harsh than the 350. Plus I will be getting an entire new wheel set up. I do like the larger brakes, so I may look into making some type of sudo f450, which would be fun to do, but I need to work out the overall cost, since that will have changes to parts. This one is not the H.O 6.7.
Airbags to level out when towing, wench on the front, are the first two things that come to mind.

Whatever you do modification wise just make sure it does not avoid the factory warranty those engines can have problems especially the high pressure oil pump and or fuel pump

look at diamondback bed cover. have it on mine and sure is great it holds 1,000lbs on top of it
You got yo diesel truck get it girl don't forget when fueling you have to keep an eye on your DEF gauge as well (diesel exhaust fluid) your gonna need that it gets used up not as much as a fuel does but you are gonna need it have a fun time ☺️

I tested at the F450 lol. But as for other makes, no, I did not try it. I am possibly looking to get a TRX in the future and give that a shot in the fun pick up category. We’ll see, I still have other things to get first.

8 put beds used to be the standard. It took me the longest time to get used to just having a 6 and 1/2 ft.
At least you had more space. The Raptor has a 5.5 ft bed, so this 8 foot one makes so much difference.
