The thing I love about Rob's videos is that they're all about the learning process - I always come away from one of his videos feeling like I understand the thing he was doing in the video so much more than before, and I respect him so much for that.

you can't own stolen property legally. You can pay for stolen property in a legal transaction if you didn't know it was stolen, but when the previous owner shows up with proof that its been stolen, legally it is still the property of who it was stolen from. Usually only applies to cars since cops don't usually bother with anything else. and you need a lot of proof, and most people usually don't record the serial number of everything they own.

My brother-in-law’s dad was a really high level executive at UPS when all that stuff with Rob’s engine went down. He was the vice president of air shipping when he retired. I’m going to try ask him about it someday. I want to see if I can get anything out of him about it. He’s a kind of an intimidating guy, and I’ve only talked to him a handful of times, but I’m going to try to get to the bottom of this. I worked at UPS for a bit. If a package gets accidentally opened during the process, they just throw it in the trash. They don’t even bother to scan it first. That’s probably what happened. They dropped his crate or something and it broke open. Too heavy to throw away, and probably sat around for a bit. So someone sold it for scrap.

Something thst blows me away is that im seeing guys doing 200+ in 90's tuner cars all the time online and its tracked speeds thinking a diablo was sketchy at that speed blows my mind
Yeah, 200 in a Supra, for example, feels absolutely stable.
Lamborghinis were handmade back then. They actually were really cheaply made. The best thing about them was the engine, the rest was just low quality. Some of that low quality they covered with expensive leather, but you could still see through that that it really wasnt that great quality. Later they actually took the Nissan 300ZX headlights and put them in the Diablo, to save money.

Because they blame it on user error from the sender, aka the stickers with the info falling off. If you are sending stuff, take photos of the packaging process with all the peanuts, take photos of the package with all the labels clearly mounted on the package. So if a dispute comes up you have photos. That is still not a guarantee that they wont screw you over but will hopefully help you in the case of a dispute.

@@aj200415they see your info to data brokers and their verification for “therapist” is intentionally lax so they can have enough. There is a real possibility if you sign up you will be talking to an unqualified therapist and get bombarded with calls text and emails specifically designed to target your vulnerability.

Seriously, Ive done it many times with a (much cheaper) car from the 90s. It is a tiny bit scary, but it just happens. It doesnt feel much different than 180.
The only thing that makes a difference is the road quality. If you want to go that fast, you better make sure the road is perfect, or youre basically asking for catastrophe.

Well... it's mechanically limited to overcome the aerodynamic limits.
If you put more power into the chassis, the mechanical limits to attain higher speeds will overcome the aerodynamic limits. ;-)

I’ve watched Rob for years but he sounds like a guy that’s nervous around his very first date. Something about his voice annoys me.
Rob is neither legendary or a mechanic or whatever you said about him. He's a weird big nose geek that's got millions but he's always alone.
