Been playing with Roseade. Leaf storm is the recommended move on PvPoke. It only takes one more bullet seed to get to, but does a lot more damage than grass knot.
And I realize that leaf storm lowers your attack. But grass knot isn't going to one-shot some of those mons that leaf storm does. And most parts of this video, Z noted that the attack drop didn't actually make much difference, like when he still would've needed two weather balls to kill that Trevenant.
Yeah, if you use Bullet Seed you definitely want to use Leaf Storm here in this cup. Lots of stuff like Lanturn, Jellicent, Tentacruel or high HP Pelipper are bulky enough to tank a Grass Knot but will often get one shot by Leaf Storm. It's with Poison Jab where you want to use Grass Knot, as then you are relying more on the fast move damage and don't want to debuff your attack

Does anyone remember when all three leagues were available all the time? I miss that, bring that back and have a 4th special cup option rotating once a week I say.
Try poison jab on the rose. I use that and all those times where the weatherball puts things in the yellow or red are gone because the jabs lowered it enough where it one shots everything.
I literally just got done playing some matches with opponents using this team and 4/5 of those matches were easy cheesy thanks to G-Weezing & Dewgong haha. They would either surrender or stop playing, so thanks for showcasing a spicy team for me to go against!
I agree. Zyonik gives his thoughts in a very polite way and would definitely be one of the most respected by Niantic in terms of listening to his recommendations.
I have a few GL pokemon that also fit in the Spring cup so I'm happy to still have GL is some form whilst UL and ML Rotate in. Imagine 2-3 weeks of something like little cup or electric cup. Not fun for those who don't have teams to compete at all, Wouldn't be opposed to having a different GL cup week in week out.

We could all be so lucky to get zyonik BOOM one-shotted by a hyper beam Cherrim! If I was the opponent who’s Peli got straight deleted I couldn’t even be mad if I was queued up to Zy in battle and that happened right off the bat lol 😂

I’m getting so frustrated with this damn game I’ve been stuck at 2100 for 5 days now.. last 2 days I’ve started off 10-5 followed by back to back impossible hard countered sets where I’ve been lucky to go 2-3 but gain hardly any ELO even tho I’m positive on the day.

It's really no problem to give up a series or 2, choose a new "spicy" team, make 5-0, 4-1 and "oOoO n3W sUpeR p0k3moN METABREAKER!". Can I watch somewhere how you play 5 sets at once? When i write "play" i mean real playing and recording fights at the same time without that video editing..

If you take away bullet seed from the roserad and put it poison jab, you'll have a better match against abomasnow

Master league is basically unplayable if it's not a classic format. Nobody wants to have to power up everything to level 50 just to be competitive

Why not. The pokemon is accessible and cheap to power up. Some of them are open meta related so you can use the knowledge in the future. 🤔
