This may sound odd.. MsMojo has a video from a few years back about Betty White. She's the one sole thing here in the U.S we all agree on. She will be 100 in January, and is the epitome of an American Icon, and a trail blazer in many ways. She even helped in WW2 I believe I could be wrong about the war. Sometimes we jokingly say we have a queen of the U.S and she's Betty White

One thing about the US Navy's lack of ship-based anti-ship missiles: US warships use a modular launch system that is capable of firing any of our current inventory of missiles. For this scenario, it is realistic to assume that many of the ships would have their normal missile loadouts swapped out for more anti-ship capability (we have a lot of these missiles in storage).

I'm a US army vet. I served in Iraq and Afghanistan. During that time I had the great honor of serving shoulder to should with some British Royal Marines. I can tell you from first hand experience, you'd be hard pressed to convince US forces to attack the UK. The men i had the pleasure of serving with are a cut above. In both Skill and Moral Integrity the British soldiers I stood with are my family for life. When a man you've never met before, from another country drags you out of a flaming truck, and says, "Don't worry mate, it's fine now. We've got ya." you do feel some kinda way about it. My job in the army had me commonly referred to as a "bomb magnet". That translates to I was a truck driver. When our convoy got hit, it was a British Marine who pulled me out of that smoldering wreck. I never got to know the man. After I woke up I asked who it was and no one knew. We had quite a large group of Royal Marines that served with us at that time. I was sent home after that as I could no longer walk. I lost a large chunk of muscle out of my legs and most of my right knee was out right removed. Today, I walk with a cane, and my have a service dog to help me do things. I wouldn't have that chance if it hadn't been for the Royal Marines. So with all that in mind, You'd REALLY struggle to convince the US army to fire one shot in anger at the UK. They're our brothers and sisters in arms and we all love them dearly. Cheers for your good vibes and wonderful videos.

we gained our wealth and position in the world by financing and "winning" two massive wars in the 1900's. The victors write the history books and draw the borders. Control the money and the policy. WW2 specifically catapulted the US into the forefront. people seem to forget that America did not start or want either war. really had not much to do with either until completely provoked and dragged into it. if pearl harbor had never happened. Nato probably wouldn't exist. there's a very good chance that Germany is the superpower of the 20th century. and everything is different just insanely different. So with that being said, the Japanese are probably in a very specific way. directly responsible for american dominance. of course the US was already profiting massively off of the war at that time. but the world policy and the way the borders get shaped would have unfolded completely differently. the "reichsmark" would probably be the dominating world currency. russia would've been diced up and may not really exist in a formal way at all. same with all of europe, except maybe switzerland(sly dogs). and if i had to guess Japan would gain a massive portion of new land. china would get smothered and wouldn't be what they are today. who knows what happens in africa and the middle east. its just insane how pivotal of an event pearl harbor was. it truly triggered the modern world as we know it.

When I was a kid and we asked him about his time in the service. I remember him saying once that when they were about to be sent on a mission, American sailors were always glad when they learned that the Australians, New Zealanders, and British would be coming along with them. While the British navy didn't have a huge presence in the South Pacific, the U.S. Navy and its sailors knew that the British, Australians and New Zealanders would fight their asses off along side them - and they did. There’s a significant possibility that those old rockets won’t launch or the launch system won’t really work (e,g all the codes) if push came to shove. Let alone the possibility that any President actually giving that order wouldn’t be shot dead by somebody in the room who’d rather not initiate Armageddon.
Invasion fleets also imply that you’re fighting a mostly conventional war. Nobody who has nukes has EVER faced a conventional military invasion; even places like Ukraine were only attacked after their politicians stupidity (or traitorously) gave away their bombs. And Britain is not some 3rd rate warlord state like Iraq or Libya. OMG, I'm an American whose childhood was in Scotland. Being an American youth stationed in Scotland starting in 1983 because my father was in the U.S. Navy and only getting transferred back to the U.S. in 1986 allowed us as a family to experience Scottish heritage (which I still hold close to my identity to this day)... but also allowed us to go on travel to England to see the other side. It's a unique perspective that I have because I see myself in two identities: American and Scottish. I appreciate both equally and look forward to going back to visit Scotland (Dunoon) soon. I was 6 years old going over and 10 years old coming back. Very impressionable years for me and I still have friends from then reaching out to me on Facebook. I consider myself very blessed to have had those experiences and memories from my childhood.
