As a Ranger fan I was incredibly excited when they signed him. It's like he played in a different league than the Rangers. Him coming here meant that we could play real baseball with the big boys. He was a symbol of legitimacy.
It was very similar to buster. Like really similar. The way the both bursted on the scene. And their best year each was almost identical. Will 89 buster 2012
I was absolutely heartbroken when the Giants didn't keep him in San Francisco. I hated seeing him play not wearing a Giants uniform. Will is a legend. He totally deserves his number being retired. * 22. *
My FAVORITE player I grew up watching, emulating playing wiffle ball games with the boys, posters on the wall, dynamic duo with Kevin Mitchell, his facial expressions, and that absolutely beautiful swing, summer night ball games, listening on knbr to the game with my dad, all those memories made, and I'll always remember, Will the Thrill Clark, congratulations on your #22 retirement, no one else looked better, played better, with that sort of electricity than you in that #22!
Kruk's tribute to his ol' pal Thrill. Baseball purity. Proud to have grown up with these guys as heroes. We bleed orange & black because of these guys!! Giants 'til we die!
Thank you Will. Your swing has never ceased to remind me of the good old days--catching a bus and heading to the old and crappy Candlestick, just to see The Thrill.
As one of Will's biggest fans (I literally forced/taught myself to bat left handed just because of him)...seeing this is better than a wet dream!!!! Being from NY I only got to see this phenom actually play once at Shea with about 20 other friends/family all giving me shit and unfortunately he went 0-4. But I’ll NEVER forget seeing him warm up b4 the game and saying to myself, “I’m in the same park as Will the THRILL!! He’s only 100 ft away from me!” Thank you Will for SO MANY great thrills (yes, pun INTENDED) and memories! Definitely deserve the Hall Brother! Will the FUCKIN' THRILL! 🤘🤩🤘
my dad took me to my 1st baseball game as a birthday present when i was 10 years old. Will Clark hit a homerun that game and i felt like he hit it just for me. that was the moment he became my favorite baseball player and cemented my love for the giants. thanks for a lifetime of memories.
Oh man... I just relived my childhood in this 5 minute video...... Will Clark undoubtedly was and still is my favorite player! I still to this day put him at the top of my list of all time greatest players to watch and admire in the game of baseball.... #22 Clark
One of the best tributes ever! It was so great watching the ceremony yesterday! Will “the thrill” Clark deserved it! He will continue to live on as one of the greatest Giants to play in San Francisco. Go giants!⚾️⚾️
Great Job Krukow. I could listen to your stories all day.. I didn't get to see Will the Thrill play but it sure must've been nice to live those days. Go Giants!
The greatest hitter who ever lived Ted Williams, once said he loved people who had enthusiasm in whatever they did. Will Clark definitely had enthusiasm when he played the game.
Love The Thrill. Grew up in NorCal as a big A’s and Giants fan and Will was my all time favorite player. I’m a lefty with a similar swing and my teammates nicknamed me Thrill which was just fine by me. #22 forever a Giant.
Please Will create a UA-cam hitting instructional channel. The kids need it. The swing was something I aspired to as a kid in the 80'/90's. I even pulled up the lead sleeve and tucked it with the chin. Hummmm Baby
I missed the days when you paid a quarter to take the bus to Candlestick and 2 bucks for a bleacher seat. And slowly migrate toward seats closer to home plate in later innings, haha.
If the Guants would've kept Will Clark, the Giants would've won multiple World Series during the 90's & early 2000's. His leadership and love for the game is what was missing from those teams.
God damn i miss hank grenwold... Before duane was screaming its outta here , hank would be hammered and pumped on giants baseball and call these games like a monster. Legendary rip hank
Giants screwed Clark! He should have never gone to another team then! They sold their soul to the devil, Bonds, and they made money, but were snake bitten .
As soon as A hole B Bonds left, they win 3 WS teams with way less talent! I will always love the Giants, but I will never forgive them for the mistreatment of Will
As a Ranger fan I was incredibly excited when they signed him. It's like he played in a different league than the Rangers. Him coming here meant that we could play real baseball with the big boys. He was a symbol of legitimacy.
His swing was the Mona Lisa of swings and Will played the game the right way with hard work and talent by far my favorite MLB player of all time.
What a great tribute! "Will the Thrill"! Honored to have seen him play the game of baseball. Go Giants!
wish i could’ve watched him play in person but i watched the giants 2010-2012-2014 Championships

Probably one of the coldest stadiums ever
He used to kill Astro pitching in the late 80’s early 90’s. Saw him play live in the astrodome.
I remember Will The Thrill s 1st A B in the Astrodome when he HR off of Hall Of Fame Legend Nolan Ryan
Killed The Cubs in the playoff 😎
He should be in the HOF!
Thank you Thrill
GO GIANTS

Born and raised in SF... To this day my favorite baseball player. He waved to me once at Candlestick Park. Got a Giant Attitude!!!
Having not lived in SF and growing up in Southern CA, Will Clark was my favorite player. The late 80's were the best for BB!

My childhood hero. I’ve never been more passionate about an athlete than I was in my young days as a Will Clark fan.
Great Job Krukow. I could listen to your stories all day.. I didn't get to see Will the Thrill play but it sure must've been nice to live those days. Go Giants!
WHAT A TRIBUTE! Ya outdone urself here Kruk for sure.
I’ve been waiting a long time for this!
The reason I learned how to bat left handed as a kid forever my favorite baseball player
The greatest hitter who ever lived Ted Williams, once said he loved people who had enthusiasm in whatever they did. Will Clark definitely had enthusiasm when he played the game.
Still my favorite player since 1988.
Thrillmania continues.
Love The Thrill. Grew up in NorCal as a big A’s and Giants fan and Will was my all time favorite player. I’m a lefty with a similar swing and my teammates nicknamed me Thrill which was just fine by me. #22 forever a Giant.
The Giants gave us some excellent baseball in the 80's and Will Clark was the main showman. What a ball player.
The natural Will Clark .⚾⚾⚾
Will the thrill! I was there at the stick, brother. You’re a legend!
Please Will create a UA-cam hitting instructional channel. The kids need it. The swing was something I aspired to as a kid in the 80'/90's. I even pulled up the lead sleeve and tucked it with the chin. Hummmm Baby
Will The Thrill!!!
That kid...that was me!!!
THE CAPE!!!
I hope the Giants do a tribute to one of their memorable fan Vin Scully one of SF Giant’s fan

2:12 I got a Giant…a Giant Attitude.
Finally, I can comment. When I first saw the video, their were 22 comments. I wondered how long it stayed that way until someone broke it. LOL
A great career cut short by injuries.
You got caught Partner! Raphael P!
I so miss the 'stick

Giants screwed Clark! He should have never gone to another team then! They sold their soul to the devil, Bonds, and they made money, but were snake bitten .
#22, Jack Clark. Congrats.
I'm glad Mr. Padre Tony Gwynn beat Will Clark on the final day of the 1989 season for the NL batting title !
Homer off Ryan. Nuff sed
As soon as A hole B Bonds left, they win 3 WS teams with way less talent! I will always love the Giants, but I will never forgive them for the mistreatment of Will
