About 4 people caught the Maxwell “Ascension (Don’t Ever Wonder” portion of the medley and we simultaneously lost our collective minds - right into that insane solo. Nice to relive this!
I love the visuals, especially when Mr Guitar steps onto Ms Bass and then goes out of shot, and reappears later in the foreground like a Hollywood movie. Pure class.

this is the best of what i heard from them, really nice groove. Normally I cant stand noodling but you cant deny they are really good, this is bit like Santana but better.
So this is so sweet… of course the monster classic of Summer Madness but to then sprinkle this gem of a medley in between is really cool. I’m not sure if he’s blessing the originals or the Hip Hop samples that gave be life. Either way, this is great stuff. I’m hearing: Sukiyaki - Taste oh Honey … or is it an ode to La Di Da Di - Slick Rick and Doug E Fresh? ...saw them 2x in 3 days in LA in Nov 21,.. they weren't doing Maxwell's Ascension groove then,....Following the tour all last year, I've been FUCKING LOVING the evolution of the medley and the various ways he evolves and adapts new melodies we all know & rolls thru the entire goddamn medley so smoothly is just phenomenal. WHY do I get emotional listening to this ? I imagine because its just so beautiful to me..? Half the time I get a tear in my eye the other half I have a lump in my throat.... ? I am NEVER not feeling some emotion when ever I hear the fuckin Khruangbin Live Medley... Anyone else...? lol its crazy
Really interesting I must say. I would have really liked to have seen him though branch out into the higher registers in the beginning or middle of this I get the mood, but it just would have been nice to hear him branch up higher
