Blizzard has not abandoned HOTS, there is still a small but dedicated team working on it.
And this is for the best and HOTS is probs the last Blizz game with old blizz heart put into it.

When the last hero was in... september 2020? and there is 0 news about anything HotS-related on HotS official account since then it's definitely not for the best.
A small dedicated team can't do anything if they have less and less budget. I love HotS and I appreciate all the effort that little team has done until now ("until now" because we don't know if they have stopped forever cause, again, there is 0 news) with almost no people but that doesn't change that Acti-Blizz has deserted the game.

If 0 news about anything HotS-related, 0 heroes since september 2020 and 0 representation in BlizzCom looks like a wonderful scenario to you, ok, it's your opinion. But for me that looks like Acti-Blizz don't give a damn about this. If that "small team" is getting less and less budget, there will come a time when they can do nothing. No matter how dedicated they are. They are not wizards.
We *almost* have HotS with no new heroes already. But answering the question: I rather have HotS having all the love the game deserves from Acti-Blizz, not this dying situation. Because, yes, at this rate I'm worried we are going to have no HotS at all. Or having it running in "auto" mode with no more updates.

Trying to explain that joke to my 6-year-old also got me.
Genji's deflect is so overpowered, just like Varian's parrying. Heck, Genji and Varian (and Illidan) danced together in one episode!

Now I just imagine them waving their blades and grunting
Varian is (or was, I don't know currently) somehow able to parry Poison that's already _inside his body._
Never did manage to test whether Genji could somehow deflect it from himself...

Was expecting Medivh shield explosion talent to go off at the last second and waste genji's dash,
but this Genji is a true carry, so ggwp
If i recall correctly, one time when i was playing Alarak(was sadism buffed to hell) max Q build, hit Medivh and 1-2 more heroes and then arcane explosion happened(didn't check the talents), and i went from 100% to about 5-10%, i think it was about 3700 or 4700 dmg, i simply imploded.

that does happen frequently and doesn't help that alarak fights up close to maximize damage
counterstrike and/or last laugh are your only saving graces(but i panic telekinesis everytime so there's that).
also, the explosion/AOE shield talent combo can wipe out the whole bloody frontline if they're not paying attention
Sorry to ruin the fun, but medivh shield is limited in damage.
@@BingChilingEnjoyer i know the damage caps but what i meant by aoe is circle of protection talent. now imagine alarak in front of 3 people with shields capped about to go off, pretty terrifying xD

Carbot updates Heroes much more than Blizzard itself...
In OW, Genji can't deflect energy or beams.
But in HotS, Genji can deflect ALL. Even fire.
Give it a little more time, and eventually he will be able to deflect even air.

Playing DW against ANY hero is absolute torture. He's just a bad hero. Period.
@@McSenkel No he isn't, he is easily one of the most powerful heroes in the game, while not needing much speed or attention at all. Check my heroesprofile/hotslogs if you don't believe me.

Really it would be a draw. Being an auto attacker, Zul'jin would just have to stop attacking while Deflect was up(1.25 seconds) then resume the onslaught. If Genji was smart then he would have saved his Swift Strike as an escape since Zul'Jin would have no way of catching him.

Wait 0.5s to do Q, 0.75 to cancel it, 0.5s to do W, 0.75s to do E, 45s to Z, 1s to cast R... and since most heroes has a % dmg his armor is not working :D
He needs to be reworked from scratch, he is close to be unplayable.
@@Olagfigh rework would be nice because he is mostly 2 builds hero, but his slowness is his weakness to the opposite of huge hero dmg when he setup up correctly his breath. So being too slow isn't his broken side. And for %dmg, well.. it's the same case as ChoGall. At the beginning almost everyone had % dmg, then almost no one, now... enough heroes, enough to be most times countered in QM :/ too sad, DW is for draft only, or for lols in QM

that is an INteresting voice line about deflection. It's almost as if Blizzard were trying to teach people to handle things the way they handle questions about the CCP; The way that the CCP and their other "friends" handle questions about corruption or human rights abuses. The way Gangsters handle those questions. The way politicians handle those questions. hmmmm.....
Last time I was this early they were still planning on adding Baal to HotS.

Here I was expecting a recap of the classic clip of two Genji doing the deflect tennis ball where the first one who's defense drops dies.
When you literally can't do a thing against the crow-divh and their whole comp is based around parry and unstoppable gimmicks...
Breaks the game IMO.
It is just every ability has a gimmick and every other ability prevents some gimmick.

As a Genji player, I can concur... provided you are not polymorphed, taunted, silenced, or stunned.
Roots and slows are the second most dangerous to Genji.
